I understand the concept, but isn't that what's been going on for years? As I stated about the election day loss...why were we required to allow trump the time necessary to process his loss? Who the fuck is he that he deserves unprecedented treatment after an election?

Coddling him just empowered him to the point where we came damn close to destroying our form of govt.. Hell, there are going to be crazies plotting the overthrow of the post trump govt. as it is. And this came to a head precisely because trump had a platform to incite those who were living under rocks, to finally have a voice.

Previously, it was the Bundy types who waited patiently for some small event to show their faces. Now they have free rein to storm the Capitol, with trump's blessing.

A real Justice Dept. will address this on day one.


I'm quite sure that this week has served to 'turn off' almost everyone in the nation that was on the fence about trump. I don't think we need any more material from the moron.

This is true on a few levels. We need to cull the octogenarians, even though they tend to prevail with a cooler head. At the other end, we need to get rid of those who were complicit in this coup. Throw in term limits, coupled with a demand for a Wall St. investment ban, and we're off to a good start.

Agreed on the speed they moved. I was disgusted than an American President would so blatantly violate his oath and set up a situation where he hoped to overthrow the US government by force.

The military already told Trump "With all respect, sir, you can go fuck yourself". Then they saluted and left. Knowing the military wasn't with him may explain why the military wasn't there to guard the Capitol building because Trump know the military would do their job and take down the terrorists. Therefore, no military was ordered to be present.

Trump probably has one major move left, but I don't know if he will be able to pull it off before Biden takes over and the Secret Service treats Trump like a trespassing scumbag.
