He doesn't understand much of anything. Especially grammar/punctuation.Do you even understand what impeachment means? It doesn't mean he's kicked out of the office.

Incorrect. But I'm not surprised that you know so littleThe answer is pretty straight forward actually.
He has been impeached and yes it will continue after he is out of office although there is a rule that a person can't be tossed out of office before a senate trial concludes so we will see if Trump tries that.
Either way the only penalty that congress can impose on him is the inability to ever hold federal office again so basically it is a complete waste of time.
They just want to make a dumb political statement instead of actually running the nation.
And this is going to completely tie up the senate.
Even Biden thinks it was stupid because it effectively stops his administration cold.
Since democrats control the house they have a little control over the speed of the trial but republicans can still delay it for quite a long time.
Ultimately the democrats will have to call for a vote without a thorough investigation being done and if found guilty then Trump would take it to the Supreme Court.
So the democrats kind of fucked themselves here and they have midterms in two years. If they don't get anything done there is zero chance of them keeping congress.
Are you really this clueless? They can't just ignore it because Trump is allowed a defense so there are certain procedures which have to be followed like allowing unlimited witness to testify.
If the democrats don't allow that and rush a vote there can't be a conviction due to them not allowing a fair trial.
It will go down in history as two failed impeachments by the democrats which make them look like the fools they are.
The Constitution does not say that, and in this case says that it is solely for the Congress to decide.
The first point is actually interesting here. The Constitution does not specifically say that the Supreme Court is the sole decider of the Constitutions language. It does specifically allow the courts to apply the laws in individual cases... With the sole exceptions of impeachment cases, rules of Congress, and discipline within the Congress. They are not granted much beyond that. They claimed more power for deciding language of the Constitution in Marbury v. Madison, but have never gone beyond those exceptions.
You probably know Bob from the old daysBob, now you're just making yourself look ignorant. Was Clinton impeached? Yes. Was Trump? Yes. Was Trump impeached twice? Yes.
Get a fucking grip on reality, bob, before reality grips you.
He's just repeating something he's heard elsewhere. Why don't you spend a little more time learning things and a little less insulting those who embarrass you by showing they know more than you do. Just makes you look dumber. Impeachment is a single stage in a two stage process, and it has been fully accomplished.
Can you impeach a former president ? Can a private citizen be impeached ?
Hah. Only if you call that charade sans witnesses a 'trial'.Trump has already been impeached. Twice.
He’s only been tried once.
Quote where the Constitution says any such thing. I have a copy of the Constitution hanging above my desk, so I doubt you will teach me anything on the document, but swing away if you feel lucky.
I seem to remember a lot of talk about how Roberts could have ordered witnesses in the first Senate trial, but opted to steer clear of doing so. Following precedent, as it were. What the Constitution is clear about is who gets to decide about the trial, and that is the Senate. The Constitution specifically says that it is the Senate solely who decides.
I agree that the Constitution is unclear as to the details of the trial, and whether the trial can happen after trump leaves office, but it is super clear as to who decides the answer. If trump has a problem with how this progresses, he can bring it up with the Senate.
I agree with the political logic here, but in 4 years trump is going to be broken...if he's even alive. His life has suddenly gotten very complex beyond the impeachment issue. On one level, I want trump running in 2024. he was not totally repudiated in 2020, just repudiated. I would like to see him totally repudiated. But he has a bad habit of tearing America apart, which I do not like.
So yes, I agree with Uncle, I could go either way. The Senate will work it out.
And in reality, I am saying that I want the Republicans to work it out. With only 50 seats, Democrats would need the Republicans' tacit support to get to two thirds. Maybe Republicans will just not be there to vote against it, thus tacitly supporting it. If Republicans are fine with keeping trump, I figure they get what they deserve.
Really? You are full of shit. Article 2, section 4. Get some school kid to read it to you dumb fuck. Show me where it says Congress can impeach a private citizen.
He is already Impeached, Moron. Show where the trial has to take place before they leave office, yeah, we know you got nothing, and that is all you ever have.
no. Obama ( and others ) have made it clear they are gonna repeal the filibuster. With only 50 seats, Democrats would need the Republicans' tacit support to get to two thirds.
The Senate would obviously not go along with this.I seem to remember a lot of talk about how Roberts could have ordered witnesses in the first Senate trial,
What did I tell you? Get a kid to read it for you. You obviously cannot read nor comprehend. No surprise there.
no it has not impeachment is like filing a charge by the da its meaningless unless a judge and a jury fine a person guilty . The senate has not done so and trump will not be president by the time they can, he will be a private citizen. Democrats don't control the constitution or the law . I didnt insult or use foul language on forums till I came here and was harassed by you liberals such as biden president who hd told me several times to go fuck my self so I am just acting like him and other liberals
In other words, you cannot back up your Bullshit, call me shocked....
No private citizens cannot be impeached.
