Officials in the Biden administration say they will have to build their own COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan because the Trump administration never bothered to create one.

CNN reports that Biden officials were shocked to learn that former President Donald Trump and his team never bothered to develop a plan for distributing the vaccine for the novel coronavirus.

"There is nothing for us to rework," said one official. "We are going to have to build everything from scratch."

The fact that TrumpCo. spent the last 80 days almost singularly obsessed with overturning an election they decisively lost, made me think that nobody was actually minding the store and getting the job of governance done.

I was angry when I found out they turned down the offer to buy more vaccine. I can’t wait for this competent administration to take over.

Fox News this morning was bitching about the fact Amazon offered to help distribute vaccine. They sarcastically asked why Amazon didn't offer it to Trump?

They didn't discuss that it was because Trump is an asshole who hates Bezos and should have had a fucking plan in the first place. Duh!

Amazon has extended an offer to President Joe Biden to assist with the national distribution of Covid-19 vaccines, a move that could expedite the federal effort to combat the pandemic.

Dave Clark, the CEO of Amazon's consumer business, and one of the company's highest-ranking executives, sent a letter to the president shortly after the inauguration Wednesday.

"As you begin your work leading the country out of the COVID-19 crisis, Amazon stands ready to assist you in reaching your goal of vaccinating 100 million Americans in the first 100 days of your administration," he wrote in his letter, a copy of which was obtained by NBC News.

"We are prepared to leverage our operations, IT, & communications capabilities and expertise to assist your administration’s vaccination efforts," Clark wrote. "Our scale allows us to make a meaningful impact immediately in the fight against COVID-19, and we stand ready to assist you in this effort."

DeSantis can make a request for return of the fugitive, which I imagine he would do. I think case law would overrule a request like that except for a violent felony, but these pricks will do everything in their power to evade justice. Trump can object to extradition, too, which I am sure he will do.

Does that mean that to be safe from prosecution, Trump will have to stay put in Florida? Couldn't he be arrested the second he sets foot out of it?

Federal officers can arrest Trump in FL no matter what DeSantis thinks, but I'm not sure if the DOJ is actively pursuing him. State officers would have to arrest Trump in order to extradite him to NY (or any other state that charges him). He can be arrested anywhere, but a friendly governor will make that more difficult. I am almost certain that's why Trump moved to FL and not back to NY. Well, that, and the fact that he would be fucking murdered if any New Yorker saw him walking down the sidewalk.

Even the pigeons would organize. lol

Excellent, then he will remain basically a prisoner in Florida, unable to visit any of his hotels or golf courses or hold rallies for his adoration fixes. If he's arrested in, for instance, New Jersey and then taken to New York, can his lawyers insist that he be released and allowed to return to FL?

Trivia: Texas rangers could also arrest him in Florida, they can go anywhere in the nation as part of their statehood thing.
