I'm not convinced that happened.
it doesn't matter what you think. seriously. you probably believe a human being dies in a legal discretionary abortion and that is total bullshit.
I'm not convinced that happened.
So, did you mean that the CDC used to be a model of efficiency, or not?

Relying on the practice of anonymous sources, CNN wastes no time in crafting their lies.
The wild misinformation begins in the headline, where it states, “The usurper is Inheriting a Non-Existent Coronavirus Vaccine Distribution Plan.”
Imagine the surprise of the nearly 900,000 people who have already been vaccinated.
CNN is laying the groundwork for a couple of eventualities here.
This is bullshit concocted in make it look like the usurper is having to work heroically, and it will give him an excuse if things go sideways on his watch.
There are two realities that CNN is avoiding here in order to smear Trump and coddle the usurper.
The entire narrative prior to his coronation was that the usurper is going to fix the problems and heroically deliver results.
How can they claim no plan existed when they said it was no good just a week ago?
They can't have it both ways.
Nobody ever handed out vaccines from the Oval Office. Trump didn't, and neither will the usurper.
The vaccine is being sent to states, governors are rationing them, and local authorities are handling the vaccinations.
Note, for contrast, the lack of leftist poutrage when Andrew Cuomo’s monomaniacal mandate led to hospitals throwing out batches of the vaccine, because otherwise he threatened to punish anyone who didn't follow HIS schedule.
The federal vaccine distribution plan was already in place, and it was available online at the Department of Health and Human Services site when the usurper took over.
If the usurper needs help finding it, he can have an comely young intern pull up the web page for him, unless his minions deleted it, like they did the 1776 Project report.
I just checked, and it's still there: https://www.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/strategy-for-distributing-covid-19-vaccine.pdf
They used to be competent, effective, now they are not. I think efficiency is not the right word here.
he threw away the pandemic plan that was developed under Obama.
it doesn't matter what you think.
Poor Legion pooped his diaper again.
The CDC needs to be ripped apart and remade....it is a complete disaster.....the fact that it has been ruined over the last twenty years has a lot to do with why we failed to do better in this pandemic. The biggest two problems are that they are no longer capable of making tests (they were supposed to be the best in the world at that) and they are no longer capable of collecting and making useful data...something else that they were supposed to be fabulous at.
Yet again we have watched the experts turn in low quality work.
"Biden inherited no vaccine plan from Trump: Complete incompetence"
The Alt Right keeps whining that trump can do things better than the experts, and then when he fails, they blame the experts.
Since 1969, we've operated as a nation that doesn't believe in government. That's decades of allowing corporate oligarchs to run America into the ground. There's no "populist" fix to this. This isn't a job for Joe Sixpack, even with a Bible and an AR15 in his F150. Now, more than ever, we need the strength of the intellectually elite to begin the overhaul. 74,000,000 sub-human trumpanzee troglodytes doing everything in their power to oppose the required fix is a far bigger problem than all the foreign adversaries we've ever had---put together.
Every bit of the above is patently true—but politics.
The moment it began, it was a forgone conclusion that Trump was going to ‘mishandle the pandemic’ because that was the only hope democrats had in getting him out of the WH.
Granted, Trump didn’t help himself at some junctures but the *relevant* parts of the federal government hardly had ‘their finest hour’ in all of this.
But again, election year politics: It had to be that the CDC, Fauci and the rest were blameless and Trump was the villain in order to drag the Big Guy across the line. And very likely ‘one or two other things’ were necessary as well.
Also, the governors were the ones responsible for the economy. Respective states were shutdown/opened up based on guidelines put out by their governors. That’s why there’s so much disparity in different states economy’s. That it tracks along partisan political lines is all anyone needs to see to know that much of this thing was political from top to bottom.
Which is what is meant by ‘hoax’: the virus is/was real but Democrats were going to ‘hoax it’ for their crass political purposes EXACTLY like they are doing with their ‘dangerous Trump supporters’ lie.
And they were going to do this regardless of the cost to households and affected businesses AND the national economy.
Trump called them on it.
