Harriet Tubman on the twenty signals a new day in America.

Your bigotry is showing big time... I didn't claim anything about Ms. Graham except historical facts about her life. Your second statement is simply a strawman and projection based on nothing.

You tried, and failed, to frame her as anti-left or opposing the left, when it was the left who was pushing for desegregation in the 1800's all the way up through the 1960's.

William Buckley made sure that Conservatism is rooted in racism and discrimination when he very famously wrote in 1955 that "Conservatism stands athwart history, yelling STOP!"

He wrote that one year after Brown v. Board of Education and the start of the Civil Rights Movement.

So there is no world where Graham would ever be aligned with Conservatism...more likely she was a leftist. There are many wealthy leftists. You like to screech about them all the time, remember?

If you want to put a Black woman on the $20 bill at least make it one that actually did something like Elizabeth Jennings Graham.

In 1854 she sued the City of New York and got streetcars there legally desegregated. The problem for the Left is she is everything they despise in a Black: She was from an upper middle class family, her father was a lawyer, she was a school teacher. The family was well known in New York's literary circles and her mother a published author.

Successful, affluent, and well-educated as well as part of "proper" society. She used the established system and got results. All of that is anti-thematic to the Left. It represents everything they purport to hate.

Performer Josephine Baker might seem an unlikely person to be honored by having her image adorn any bill of US currency, but if you watch this 8:00 mini-bio you can appreciate how it could be judged an appropriate choice for several reasons.

Extraordinary Josephine Baker: Dancer, Activist, Spy

I'm making an argument for it being someone who accomplished quite bit during her life, rather than someone celebrated by the Left for doing little. Tubman for example is somewhat controversial as historians really don't know that much about her in detail. But, she is usually described as a "political activist" and "abolitionist." Those appeal directly to the Left.

Staking out the pro-slavery position on the right, I see...

Abolition of slavery wasn't a left vs. right issue, it was a humanity issue.

So by placing abolitionists among the left, you are also saying that the right places slavery in great regard.

That's why I said you would have opposed desegregation in the 1800's, and would have opposed it in the 1950's-60's.

I can't do better than the truth, son.

I'm sure people have remarked on your sub-par intellect for your entire life.

Nor has it inspired it.
LOL, I’m not a son.

No, the only people who remark on my intellect are people like yourself on anonymous message boards. I find they are usually insecure about themselves and the only response to my posts are insults because they have nothing else.

Irrelevant.

I remarked on your lack of intellect, to be precise.
I find they are usually insecure about themselves and the only response to my posts are insults because they have nothing else.
Funny, you were the first one to respond to one of my posts here. Project much?

Phan is beautiful woman and you are fucking moron in the present tense...not just in the past tense as your username implies.

Why are you proud? You accomplished nothing to be proud of.

You like most Individualists don't grasp much.

Individualists seem to be mentally & socially deficient.

Rather than seeing groups they just tend to see ( Me, Mine, Now)

There are groups & they aren't equal.

This Individualism to deny group even existing.
