I’ll have to ask. My brother just informed our family via text yesterday. I knew he was leaving for basics but I wasn’t aware of his assignment after basics. He is a college grad, so I think he was shooting for Officer training, but I’ll have to double check.

Countries that took this seriously have faired better than countries that have not taken things seriously. Not everyone who does not take this seriously is a MAGA loser, but the MAGA losers are the ones trying to convince everyone not to take this seriously. America without the MAGA losers would have faired better.

There is another interesting question. We are mostly vaccinating the most likely to die, not the most likely to transmit. Which means we are not getting the force multipliers of reducing the spread. This might not be the best use of the vaccine.

I don't see RB60's posts either, but the fact is the Red states opened up for Memorial Day. The shit head governor in Fla was ranting about the Covid hoax, only to have his hospitals full a month or so later. Same in Texas, and Georgia. If you read the text in the OP, it shows that these events were the cause. Initiated by spring break.

We will see. It appears the vaccine might only last for a while, so we might have to do it over and over again, until we can wipe out Covid-19. Wiping out Covid-19 requires the WHO to get the vaccine all over the Earth. That takes time.

I am scared of just that. My fear is we get Covid-19 every year, each time it takes another toll on our body, until we are too old to take it anymore. In the long run, it takes an average of a decade off life expectancies. That is possible, but it is impossible to know how likely it is.

That is why I am willing to spend whatever it takes to try to get rid of Covid-19. I am willing to forego parties. I am willing to do whatever might defeat it.
