BLM and Antifa march in DC, threaten to 'burn down' Washington

Because they are a Marxist organization who hates the Government. It was Democrats who concocted the story about them just hating conservatives. And letting them get away with it for political gains. Now they will paying the piper. Stupid bastards.

Good point about the Marxists and anarchists.

The Trump rioters weren’t insurrectionists, strictly speaking, if they really believed the election was stolen. IOW, they perceived that their actions would *preserve* the government and not destroy it—they were acting against what they perceived to be an unconstitutional usurpation of power via a fraudulent election.

In the Sullivan video, the lefty Sullivan was inciting the rioters to burn the place but they didn’t: They had no interest in destroying the government or destroying the building. One of the rioters even called out to not destroy or harm any statues.

Anarchists are squarely against the government, itself, as its conceived. They want to burn it down [often literally] and replace it with something else. Since they are against the government and any government authority, right down to the cops, they are more accurately described as insurrectionists.

And I’m sure that’s putting too fine a point on things for some tastes lol.

They were misled.

Trump supporters tried to stop the constitutional process of choosing the President of the United States.

Correct. It wasn't Trump's first of many failed attempts.

Despite all the noise and denials, to me the most important thing about everything that happened between November 3rd, 2020 and January 6th, 2021 was that Americans proved to the world our system of government works. Sure, we make mistakes, but in the end, Good triumphs over all.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa protesters marched in the streets of Washington, D.C., where demonstrators scuffled with police officers and the crowd shouted threats to "burn down" the nation's capital.

On Saturday night, members of BLM and Antifa protested in D.C., where they regularly chanted, "If we don't get it, burn it down!"

Assuming the videos are not myopic or voice manipulated, my question is was there any attempted storming of the Capitol? Initiated fights with police? Rampage and damaged property?

And remember folks, local cops across the country lay any violence occuring during BLM or Anti-fa (separate organizations/ideology) protests on "a few individual anarchists" or outside agigtators or agent provocateurs, citing that 93% of the past protests and demonstrations were peaceful.

Hard to say, since there appears to be a media blackout.

Is that so?

You are very wise Dutch.

Thank you, sir. I try to learn from my mistakes. Too bad it took me so long.

One of the most important lessons I ever learned as a new officer after flight training was to "make more mistakes."

I'd earned my wings in November of 1981 after completing helicopter training at South Whiting Field. My orders were to report to HMT-301, a Helicopter Marine Training squadron, to become a CH-46 pilot, MOS 7562. Marine officers are officers first and qualifications second. I was immediately slotted into working in the training department 0800-1630 M-F unless I was flying. Studying to fly the CH-46 Sea Knight was done on my own time.

Training was a sub-department of Operations. There are four main sections to a Marine Corps squadron: Administration (Admin), Operations, Maintenance and Logistics. Candy asses stayed in Admin, dumbasses stayed in Logistics and both Ops and Maint competed for being #1 on the command fitness reports.

My training officer, Capt. H., was a Vietnam seasoned Cajun United States Marine Corps Captain CH-46 Helicopter Aircraft Commander and, at that time, instructor pilot. The guy scared the shit out of me, but a great guy to fly with.

I'd been in the squadron for a couple weeks for the three-month training transition cycle. HMT-301, in 1981, trained both CH-46 and CH-53 pilots for, IIRC, 4 CH-46 and 3 CH-53 squadrons currently stationed at MCAS Tustin, CA. One each CH-46 and CH-53 squadrons were stationed at MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan on six-month deployments.

One day Captain H. came to my government issue metal desk, leaned over and said, "XXX, you're fucking up." I was shocked, gurgled a bit and said, "What am I doing wrong, sir?"

"You're not making enough mistakes."

Captain H. was about 4 inches from my face, not angry, but flatly telling me I needed to fuck up more. This gave me a little vapor lock since a lot of my previous 24 years of life were spent being told I was fucking up too much.

"Wha..what do you mean, sir?"

"You need to learn. You can't learn if you don't make mistakes. Learn from your mistakes."

Obviously the only reply was "Yes, sir", but it stuck with me because Captain H. was right. Can't learn if we don't make mistakes. Obviously learning from those mistakes is the moral goal.

1. If there's a media blackout as you claim, then how is it that news sources other than Glen Beck's rag obtained and reported such? Or did you even bother to look?

2. Yep. Been reported in print, broadcast (TV & radio) and on the net for months now. You'd know this if you did any honest, objective research. Please do, because I don't do homework for the willfully ignorant.
