So the invented a brand new hybrid that solved those weaknesses with doses of the strongest parts of other systems


And mankind has been in awe of it since then

I haven’t followed the thread so I apologize if this has already been discussed. I’ve voted third party before. And I’ve heard it all from ‘you’re throwing away your vote’ to ‘its a cop out’ etc. etc. I disagree but to each his own.

You say you support multi parties. What’s your take on people currently voting third party?

It's a good question and an interesting topic. I am thoroughly opposed to not only the two-party system but also to the two parties themselves. I vote third party sometimes. I voted third party in the 2016 presidential election. It sounds like you can imagine the backlash I received from people who voted for Clinton. I've never been a Democrat, but I was considered a traitor who enabled Trump by some people. I resented the hostile treatment. Clearly the four years of Trump hell set the US back at least a generation, but I don't regret my vote. I will vote third party again -- whenever it suits me and my standards.

Ultimately, we need more than two, more than three parties. We need a robust, multi-party system that precludes any single party from gaining a decisive majority. We need coalitions. We need agreement between people who disagree. Does that intersect with your thinking at all?
