But she has been walking yellow jaundice for at least 2 years. They kept her from getting on the list with test after test.
2 weeks ago she went critical after a double transfusion when her blood would not clot.
It was touch and go -but she rallied. To their credit they immediately got her a liver, instead of just keeping her in ICU. She still looks awful, but doc says she's healing.

I take breaks for mental clarity -afterall getting stoned is a (mild) altered state, and you have to discipline yourself
not to let your mind wander off to dysfunction .. Thank Great Buddha I never drank much though -
the shit poisoned my sis -although she abused it by pounding it down
