? For the gun grabbers

The lame comparison between guns and cars is just that. Lame. Vehicles are a necessity in a modern society. They cease to function without them. Modern societies function quite nicely with minimal guns.

Also, you have to register your car, pass a driving test, renew your license, insure your vehicle, and get it inspected every year.

And there are no less than 90 different regulations for every single car.

While I find it fascinating that you are an arbiter of what is a necessity and what isn't in a modern society, you are correct it's a lame comparison because the right of self defense is an enumerated right. Cars are not.

I think most members of JPP can agree you're in need of better mental health care and should not be allowed near pills or firearms.

Well, even if I was, I know I can't count on you to be in my corner because of the way you mocked suicide victims earlier on this thread.

What's really shitty about what you did was that you did it literally right after accusing ME of not taking it seriously.

But only one of us opposes mental health care for everyone...you.

Yup. So according to you, you want people to do the same for free speech, freedom of association, freedom of religion.

Voting? I think a lot of Republicans will agree with you that voters should have to register, pass a test, new that test and be inspected for the influence of drugs or alcohol before voting.

Self defense doesn’t require guns. Neither does a fully functioning modern society. But that functioning society requires vehicles.

Next.

When did I say that, or is this just you trying to bait me into a discussion to distract from the fact that you mocked suicide victims earlier in this thread?

It's pathetic how you have to go to hyperbolic extremes in order to drag something out of me so you don't have to admit that you mocked suicide victims earlier on this thread after crying crocodile tears for them before.

It depends. Are you against assisted suicide like you are other rights?

Are you capable of understanding the difference between a depressed 15 year old thinking of hanging himself in his closet and a 67 year old with terminal cancer? Only a fucking moron would treat both cases the same. The same type of fucking morons advocating one-size-fits-all laws.

See? I knew you shouldn't be allowed around firearms. Does that make me anti-gun? No. It just means I support reasonable laws regarding individual rights.

Are you against assisted suicide like you are other rights?

I'm not the one who thinks health care isn't a right...you are.

I'm not the one who thinks we shouldn't have universal mental health care...you are.

I'm not the one who mocked suicide victims on this thread...you were.

So why are you so interested in taking away people's rights, or limiting their rights?
