If you're (I'm still laughing at this) 'struggling to come up with one white rich and powerful institution that’s run by conservatives,' (cut it OUT - you're Killing me!) look no further than the US Supreme Court. Then look at all the inferior courts. Nothing short of pretty much the vast majority of the American judicial system. But don't close your eyes or your mind after that. No, keep them open if you dare. That's only scratching the surface at the top of a very large iceberg.

Don't let your eyes wander to the majority of State governments. Small town City Councils. County Councils. Or Wall Street. Or most major corporations. Or the US Military. Or the Catholic Church. Or the lobbying industry. The Military-Industrial Complex. The High-Tech Government Security Industrial Complex. Police and Sheriff Departments all over the nation. How about the Police Union? The NRA. Big Pharma. Big Insurance. The NFL. The Prisons-For-Profit Industrial Complex.

Must be some kind of purposeful blindness going on if you can't see all of that. You really did make me laugh with that one.

Better keep those eyes tightly shut if you want to continue to 'struggle to think of' white and male dominance in powerful American institutions.

I won’t argue the point that our white majority country is run largely [but hardly exclusively] by white men. The question is how many of them are conservative—or much less, Trump supporters.

You sloughed-off Big Tech even though they are quite arguably the most powerful single non-government entity on the planet—and that is not hyperbole. They function as a *global* oligarchy and they are run exclusively by lefties—hard lefties. In fact, the whole of Silicon Valley is run by leftists and they are incredibly rich and powerful white leftists.

Putin can only dream of the election meddling capabilities of Big Tech.

Big Pharma is run by whites but I’m not sure I’d call them conservatives—and they will bow to woke orthodoxy just like almost every other institution, including the military.

The only reason you fear modern tech is because the left is beginning to turn the tide on the well-entrenched conservative power hold in America. And if big tech is so left how come Putin was able to use it to get Trump elected?

I still have to chuckle when I think that the only reason you're able to argue this with me on a computer or other tech device via the internet is because of big tech, and yet you decry them as some kind of terrible influence on the nation.

We have to face it. White Male Dominance is a relic of the past, only clinging on because of the power positions they hold. White Male Institutionalized Power Dominance does not reflect the diversity of our nation and therein lies the big problem. It's gonna get resolved as more people become woke, and white males clinging to old mores can't stand it. The thought of actual equality is threatening to them, despite the Declaration and the Constitution they claim to hold so dear.

The most glaring thing is this notion that white men sit around all day conjuring up schemes to keep people of color oppressed.

Woke culture perpetuates itself through fear: corporations can be ruined by a single charge of racism, sexism or any -ism. Very unhealthy in a democracy. In fact, it’s a form of cultural fascism.

And yet major corporations routinely outlive humans.

Repeatedly committing crimes that would have humans in lockdown for more than one lifetime, but the behemoths are above the law. They consider fines nothing more than the cost of doing business. They never die and they never have to worry about a prison sentence.

You ignored my questions.

Doesn't matter. It's clear at this point where each party stands. That guy in AZ came out & said it. Republicans need fewer people to vote in order to win. Democrats win when more people vote.

So, what does the GOP do? Modify their positions & try to build more expansive coalitions?

Nope. Much easier to keep trying to restrict voting, and keep legitimate voters from casting a vote. And that strategy is as clear as day.

Hi Politalker,

I have been doing those things and will continue to do so. I don't care if the covid scolds think I'm part of the problem. My solution is to keep distance from vulnerable people and quarantine only if I'm sick. Other than that I'm going to keep living my life as I see fit. It's wonderful to have a sense of normalcy again. You should try it!
