Well, if I was Hannity and I had said I would do something for charity, if somebody offered what Olberman offered I'd have done it. Of course I'd have done it because I said I would. Nothing like punishing yourself for saying something you regret to teach you a lesson.

If I were called a terrorist I would laugh loudly. If I were a recovering addict I would probably joke about it too.

But before you get sanctimonious about them making jokes about Limbaugh's addiction, remember that he made some pretty rough remarks about people's addictions before his own addiction was made public.
If I were a public figure, I would certainly not throw a hissy fit over it.

Too bad they could not have gotten Whoopi Goldberg to do the show, she could have got her former boyfriend Ted Danson to show up in blackface and maybe got OB to do a little song & dance number for the crowd.

Seriously, her jokes weren't all that good. I'd be more upset that he had a poor sense of humor than anything. Was he laughing because he thought "joe unionmember" would have laughed or does he really have that crappy of a sense of humor?

No. That's an exageration. He's vastly more immoral than a pick axe murderess. Rush Limbaugh, as a propagandist, is implicitly responsible for many thousands of deaths. Karla Faye was responsible for two. Life in Prison for Rush? Good idea but make sure he has to share a cell with Al Franken!!

I know what you mean and that brings up the issue of Bud Light, isn't it redundant?

Actually, I will defend Budwieser. It's a very good light beer. Quite refereshing when served chilled on a hot summers day or when your in a mood to swill beer all day and don't want to get that bloated feeling that more full flavor beers give you. Having said that. I drink Miller myself.

What's your brand of Beer/Ale Charver?

The most historically important use of beer was to provide an alternative to water, which was very often contaminated with bacteria. Bud Lite celebrates that heritage. :)

Limbaugh is not only a propagandist he's made brilliant use of combining a dour sense of humor with Joseph Goebbels propaganda model quite affectively.

That's why it's hillarious that anyone would be offended by Sykes joke about Limbaugh. Hell Limbaughs been doing the same thing for 20 years now. He's owed a little payback. Suck it up you whimps!! If you can't take it don't dish it out.

That was my brand in the 70's. Then I got to know an alcoholic who drank a case a day and the poor old guy smelled like formaldehyde. That smell is all I can think of when I see that clear bottle filled with that urine colored liquid.

As far as beer goes, or as we say, lager, i'm strictly in the Stella Artois camp but i'll take a Kronenbourg rather than resort to some cheap Australian swill.

More often than not though i'll be found with a pint of Boddingtons. However, if there are any real ales on offer, as i travel round the local public houses, then i'm more than willing to give them a go.
