Controversial?

Why? If she wants to have the baby, why is it anyone's business but hers?
 
That was pretty much my opinion as well. I don't quite understand what the "controversy" is here.
 
I can't see anything on that link but i'm assuming it's that woman who's got pregnant at 67, or whatever it is?
 
The video wouldn't load, but two issues I have with this are:
1. The heath of the baby being born.
2. Who takes care of the kid is she keels over in ten years?

God makes older gals sterile for a reason.

But God leaves men fertile for longer for no reason?

This is her decision. If she makes arrangements for the baby's care in the event she dies, that is a plus.

Does everyone make such arrangements? My wife and I did, even though we were young when we had kids.

Since women are the traditional child rearers, what does it matter?

I made arrangements as well, none of which were as desirable as having them raised by their healthy, biological parents.

I'm pretty sure it's menopause that makes older gals sterile, not God.
