just quit being intellectually dishonest. How long madcow or hitchens last means absolute dick with regards to the merits of whether or not it's torture. If you want to claim it's torture - fine. But using people that volunteered who then "found out" that it wasn't a swell time is hardly relevant. It's like - NO FUCKING SHIT. The reason we use it in the first place is because those getting waterboarded DON'T LIKE IT. I mean... LOL? This is nothing new, this isn't news. It's just fucking stupid and gimmicy and you dumb proles eat it all up.

I have yet to be convinced that waterboarding is as bad as people are making it out to be.

And yes sometimes torture is acceptable, though it should be used sparingly on high level operatives.

It should never be used on high level operations, because high level operations are precisely where we need accurate information which torture does not provide.
 
honestly though this whole news cycle is just a circle jerk. If it wasn't waterboard torture it would have been something else to get all offended and shocked about.

Clearly torture can provide information. If I am being faced with the prospect of being tortured if the information I give is wrong I am going to be spilling the beans in an instant. It's called fact checking. You verify it with other sources. Independent verification.
 
torture is for sadists not nations or at least not our nation, may cheney and bush be water boarded or at least convicted

This is such a fallacious argument. I wouldn't volunteer to eat sushi, yet folks do it all the time and actually find pleasure in it. Is eating sushi torture?

AS I have said before people do it for publicity stunt, in some cases to get ratings, Everyone must know it isn't comfortable, Man Cow or Hitchens did this and didn't think it would be uin comfortable? well then they are defiantly not the ones I want to listen to.

But think about ,how bad could it be if it is even legal for guys to do it for publicity? And No I wouldn't do it, LOL I have more sense.

My point was that Ventura is not a wimp by any stretch of the imagination. And he has been waterboarded and calls it torture. Something he experienced. I did not bring up the MC because I think that is so cool. I used it as another example of his toughness. They aren't going to install a wimp in that position.

I hear ya WinterBorn and I agree he is a tuff guy, but he also awful one sided,
I just looked him up on google and see he wants to move to Mexico now, says he can buy a million plus dollar house and only have to pay 700 bucks a year taxes on it, hmmm wonder where he made the money to buy the house

I am not trying to say waterboarding isn't un comfortable ( to say the least) but these guys doing it for publicity knew itgoing into it, they did it for attention.

As for Jesse he is also bragging about his MC how they are the most notorious MC in the country, we all make mistakes when we are young but to be bragging how bad they are still, lol, sounds like his elevator maybe doesn't go to the top floor

I think his elevator goes all the way up. He did his thing and is now ready to go someplace warm and retire. He surfs. Mexico is a great place for that. If he were the liberal people here have tried to make him out to be he would be moving to CA.

#1 he moved to Ca already, he says he works in La

#2 last I saw the beaches of CA there was pretty good surfing there also

#3 most I hear complaining about illegal immigrants bitch that they make money here then leave, isn't that exactly what Jesse is doing?

#5 I half ass agree with his statement on waterboarding, I am like you here he has done it he knows, the problem I have is he is so one sided that I wonder if it was Dems. that did the waterboarding if he would of stood up? I guess no one really know that.

Jeff, is it legal to lock yourself in solitary confinment for thirty years?

Does that in any way prove that it's a bad thing to force upon someone?

The whole philosophy behind waterboarding was to find something that sounded innocuous to a layman but produced pain on the level of torture.
