BAC'S boy chavez stealing more companies

You are right. I take it all back. Bad dictators NEVER have the popular support of their people. /idiocy

If the have the support of the people AND are duly elected by a system judged to be moire far and have more integrity than YOUR OWN election system ... HOW IN THE FUCK ARE THEY A DICTATOR?

Isn't it amazing how the anti-Chavez folk on these boards scream "dictator" while totally ignoring the FACT that Chavez was duly elected to replace the oligarchy that previously ran Venezuela? His moving profits to better the masses is overlooked because the previous folk that didn't does this are wailing like stuck pigs. TFB. Chavez is no saint and will make mistakes, but his people are grateful.

Welcome to the board my brother.

None of this idiocy is a surprise. It's always the same knuckleheads who look for any opportunity to attack Chavez .. and the results are always the same .. they end up looking just as stupid, programmed, and ill-informed as you see them now.

I'm a socialist, so they seek me out to demonstrate their incredible ingnorance about socialism. They don't even know what it is .. but it's a buzzword they've been told to fear.

As you've correctly said, Chavez is no saint, but compared to where they've come from and what they've suffered under the corporatist theives that preceeded him, there is no mystery why he's so widely supported by not only his own people, but throughout all of Latin America. Much of the same can be said about Castro.

Fixed.

Its called "theft" when you do this kind of thing. The people are always greatful when you hand out money. That's why every democracy inevitably fails, because it is vulnerable to mass theft via voting money from the treasury and/or wealthy down to the masses.

But when you take trillions of dollars of taxpayer money and give it to corporations that's called a bailout.

Democracies don't fail because money trickles down .. they fail because resources remain in the hands of the few .. and the open mind doesn't have to look very far for a vivid demonstration of a democracy in trouble because the greed of the few.

Naaa-unnh, bunky. I asked first. Your boy made the statement, the burden of proof is on him...or YOU if you're taking up the gauntlet for him. I'm sick and tired of doing the homework for every neocon foghorn that needs to vent.

You know what the answer is and it doesn't fit your socialist agenda, so you ignore it.

Oh puh-leeze! You actually think that lame ass dodge of yours will work? Sorry genius, but it's painfully obvious that neither you or your compadres have the proof or the brains to prove the allegation of "theft". None of you have yet to meet a simple burden of proof...so your accusation is false and unsubtantiated. You can't hide your folly by trying to shift the burden of proof on me...remember genius, I'm not the one making the accusation.

maybe a fireman or a butcher...? ....on careful consideration, probably neither...

I think maybe Tai would rather follow the trail blazed by Monica....apparently well on the way to earning those prized "Democratic Kneepads" and already so adapt at swallowing their load no matter how it smells.....a natural....
Your success is surely guaranteed....

Ahh, you just couldn't resist....you're the asshole from the AOL boards whose rabid neocon blatherings included some twisted obsession with Monica Lewinsky. Like I said, writing styles are like fingerprints...no two are the same.

Well, we'll treat you here just like we did there.

The real short of this hugo crap to me is.

I do not want hugo telling us how to run our country and we should not tell him how to run his.

From all I have read the people down there mostly like the way Hugo is doing things so who are we to say anything.
Heck he has higher approval ratings than Bush did.

What all the flustering neocon parrots DON'T understand and DON'T want to know is why our press is SO interested in Venezuela:

1. Venezuela is a an OPEC member.
2. CitGo is a Venezuela company that has been doing business in America for YEARS.....and the ONLY oil company that gave a price break to it's cutomers during the recent past winters.
3. Chavez was a legally elected leader, who ran on the premise of using the country's resources to benefit the masses instead of the oligarchy of businesses. Socialism is one of his credos.
4. The American press reported on a military coup to overthrow Chavez.....problem was the coup hadn't occured yet. The foul up gave Chavez enough warning to pre-empt the coup. Question remains: how did the US press know of a military coup that didn't happen yet? And folk wonder why Chavez is highly suspicious of American foreign policy.

This thread ends as all such threads end .. with the idiots who attack Chavez running away from their own ignorant comments.

Just a suggestion but before you buffoons create another thread about Chavez ..

A. Find out what a "dictator" really is.

B. Find out what socialism is and see if you can see it in your own society now and long before Obambi came along.

C. Find out if you can invent a counter to the fact that Chavez is supported by his people and maintains an approval rate of over 60% .. even after many years in office.

D. Find out if you can invent a counter to the fact that the quality of life for most Venezuelans has improved dramatically since he's been in office.

E. Take the red pill and wake the fuck up.

To intelligent folks, the words "seize" and "takeover" have a simple interpretation.

Venezuela's farm seizures show little results
By FABIOLA SANCHEZ, Associated Press Writer
EL CHARCOTE Venezuela

This vast ranch used to be filled with grazing herds of cattle, but the green pastures are now overgrown with weeds and dotted with patches where poor farmers grow corn and beans. The cows have vanished.

The 32,000-acre (12,950-hectare) El Charcote Ranch in central Venezuela was meant as a showcase for President Hugo Chavez's agrarian revolution, turning a country with food shortages and runaway inflation into one that could feed itself. But since troops and peasants seized the land from a British agribusiness company four years ago, beef production has dropped from 2.6 million pounds (1.2 million kilograms) annually to zero.

...

Venezuela's farmland expropriations began in earnest in 2005, with the government employing a 2001 law allowing it to seize lands deemed idle or not adequately used. Some landowners have received compensation, and others have mounted legal challenges with mixed results. The government has also seized some ranches alleging the owners didn't hold legal title in the first place.
