MSNBC and the Today Show have been running a story on a PA woman and her daughter who were allegedly in an auto accident and abducted by the men that hit them. The mom made a cell phone call in which she said she and her daughter were in the trunk of a car after being hit by two black me in a fender bender. According to her, when she got out of the car to look at the damage the two black men got out of the car and abducted her and her daughter, throwing them in the trunk and driving away. Her SUV was found 25 miles from the abduction site. Her phone was turned off shortly after she made the 911 call and her car was found in Philly and after watching the video it does not appear that there was any damage to the SUV.

NOt saying it didn't happen but my first thought was Susan Smith.

Here is the video [ame]http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/30957952#30957952[/ame]

You have a suspicious mind. That tells me you have learned a lot. :clink:

I called it! The woman is in custody after faking the abduction and taking her daughter to orlando florida. She is also suspected in stealing 300k from her boss. Nasty bitch trying to play on bullshit stereotypes to make people believe mean old black men stole her and her daughter. I hope they put her ass in a cell with a bunch of sisters.

I have an SUV and was rear ended by a driver doing about 30 when in a braking skid he hit me from behind. Visually I had little damage, but when the adjuster and body man checked it out I had about 2500 in damages. If the purpose was to abduct this woman and or her daughter a mere nudge to her very nice SUV would be enough to have her get out and check for damage. I think the abduction is real. The dad's emotional state seemed real too, otherwise I'd suspect him...maybe there is a controlling boyfriend type?

You think wrong and should have read the rest of the posts.

What did I say about the "poor thing" :D

but the poster saw thru the video's seeming intent.

So you don't think the "news" media has become sensationalistic instead of just reporting the news?

The poster seemingly believed that the mother killed her kid. At least the reference to Susan Smith alluded such.

I have never stated that the news is not, or has not, become sensationalized. I would say not all news is.

At least we can use this to point out the things she did wrong if the story had been true.

Ladies:
If you are in a fenderbender don't get out unless its in a safe place. Call the cops from inside your car and stay there until they arrive.

If you are locked in the trunk kick out the taillights and stick your arm out and wave it. The driver can't see it but other drivers can and will (hopefully) call the cops.
