So what the fuck is your point? That only those who's ancestors were oppressed in America have the right to condemn people who had absolutely nothing to do with it?
The point is, nearly EVERY race of people have a story of some kind of persecution and discrimination. What happened in 1860s America is NOT my fault, I wasn't here, didn't have a damn thing to say about it or to do with it. Yet, every time some idiot yahoo Northerner opens his mouth, me and my state are being criticized and condemned! I can just about bet you that whoever the hell you are, whatever the hell your background, your people probably either oppressed someone else, or were oppressed (or both) at some time in history. We can't lay the blame off on generations of today, as if they are responsible for what their ancestors did. What happened happened... it's not MY fault, it's not the State of Alabama's fault, it's just what happened in the past.
