A Muslim convert who already was under federal investigation pleaded not guilty Tuesday in what police called a likely "political and religious" attack that killed a young soldier at a military recruiting center.

Abdulhakim Muhammad, 23, of Little Rock, was charged in Monday's death of Pvt. William Long, 23, of Conway outside an Army-Navy Career Center in a west Little Rock shopping center. He pleaded not guilty to a capital murder charge and was ordered held without bail.

A prosecutor said Muhammad admitted shooting Long and another soldier "because of what they had done to Muslims in the past."

Is there anything new? I thought he pleaded not guilty a week ago.
Today he stated, "I do not believe that killing him was murder."

And as far as I remember it was not discussed on this site, and I find the subject interesting, it parallels the murder of the abortion doctor, without all the "bad extremists are all republicans" rhetoric from the left.

About the same attitude as the abortion Dr. Killer.
God will save one, Allah the other. Whatsa diff?
Yup. As I said, it parallels the abortion doctor murder, without all the "bad extremists are all republicans" rhetoric from the left, and as far as I remember it was not discussed on this site and is interesting to me.

Well they were both extremist conservatives though.

So you think that he voted for McCain? I doubt you could tell his political viewpoint from this, you just project what you wish it to be. It is far more likely he voted Obama, believing that Obama would be more likely to stop all the "bad stuff" the US does to Muslims.
