Rivera replied that the Delaware Democrat sounded unremarkable and that the programs he laid out left much to be desired:

"Compassion aside, where was the passion? That speech was as laid back as the program he is proposing," said Rivera.

The longtime journalist, who has reported on violent crime and other major issues throughout his career, said that Biden's allocation of resources toward summertime social programs for urban and endangered youth and stemming illegal firearm sales will not go far toward solving the problem.

"This is the civil rights issue of our time, murder has become the leading cause of death, if this is not an emergency, what is it?" he later asked.

"In Chicago [there were] 8 people killed, 54 people shot last weekend – that is an emergency – that is something that needs action right now."

Rivera said that Biden should – instead of expending $360 billion in taxpayer resources on summertime programs -- direct that funding to Chicago police to engage in "stop-and-frisk" crime prevention techniques like those instituted in New York by then-Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and NYPD Commissioners Bill Bratton and Raymond Kelly.

It's constitutional," Rivera said of stop-and-frisk. "Let's [also] have roadblocks – let's go after these gangs as organized criminal enterprises."

Biden, the host said, seemed tired during the speech and appeared to be simply responding to growing concern among the populace:

"That [address] was very, very sleepy -- and you know I like the guy – but that was pathetic and it seems to me totally reactive to the bad press – they were scrambling to get something done," he said.

"They could be much more emergent and much more serious than was portrayed by the president of the United States just there."

Later in the segment, host Dana Perino appeared to agree with Rivera's take on Biden's monotone:

"[He] read it as if he's reading back somebody's fast-food order in a Drive-Thru."

Geraldo has been a joke since the Capone vault and still tries desperately to be relevant. He just ends up being pathetic.

^the yammering morons as usual go after the source with no ability to address his points
for those who actually want to comment other than cover for SleepyJoe here is his 3 big ideas:
~~

1. Biden's allocation of resources toward summertime social programs for urban and endangered youth and stemming illegal firearm sales will not go far toward solving the problem.

2."This is the civil rights issue of our time, murder has become the leading cause of death, if this is not an emergency, what is it?"

3.It's constitutional," Rivera said of stop-and-frisk. "Let's [also] have roadblocks – let's go after these gangs as organized criminal enterprises."

Who?

 :rofl2:

I wonder if the Revolution tonight wonders if they should have picked someone to act as the front with a brain that is not almost dead.

Someone who has at some point in their life shown talent a leadership for a bonus.

Biden: Almost dead, never was any good.

The Pride of the Revolution!

OOPS

If anything, Biden will stimulate illegal automatic arms sales.

Like during the Clinton years.

How come the border was supposed to be secured by the end of 1989 and still isn't?

A wall has been funded 3x and still no complete wall?

You can fund it, but when it comes to building it, that’s another thing,
due to the legal challenges.

Because I know that every Congress since Reagan was supposed to secure the border.

That ain't no bullshit. They were supposed to secure the border in exchange for Reagan granting 3 million illegals amnesty.

A border wall has been funded 3x and the funds raided 3x, of taxpayer money.

I bet you didn't know that huh, cupcake?
Trump was just trying to do what every Congress since Reagan failed to. Secure the border. Bill Clinton was among those that made that promise, and he actually made good on it some. What wall is there was built by Trump and Clinton.

Biden made that promise too, but he ain't ever done a thing except maybe spend the taxpayer dollars allocated for a wall on something else.

Why isn't Geraldo in a insane asylum who hasn't had both ores in the water for years?
