Problem is Barr made his statement before seeing all the evidence.
For example, anyone who pretends to know the results of the AZ is bullshitting. I don’t pretend to know. The ‘talking point’ is that it will be fruitless—and it may end up that way. Or not.
The point is that Barr’s claim is essentially bullshit and there’s some merit to the argument he is trying to rehabilitate his image. IOW, he’s being a hack.
And who cares if he’s being a hack. When was he not one? The point is there is merit, to borrow your word, in undercutting the lie among the faithful.
As for Arizona, a decidedly partisan investigation carried out by unqualified “investigators” won’t furnish a credible result unless it is one contrary to the
loaded assumption it began with.
