His stepgranddaughter admitted never seeing his religious practices. Her use of the phrase "must have" is certainly not a sign she was sure but more a sign she (like you) hoped he was a devout christian. Two ministers said he never took communion.

You are still grasping at straws.
Again, he was a private man ans she used "must have been" to set up an argument that she ended with no doubt.

Many folks don't receive weekly communion. But two ministers didn't say he skipped the occasional weekly communion. They both said he never partook of communion.

He didn't speak to her about his religious beliefs and she never saw him practicing his beliefs. She started with "must have" and ended up that she was sure? I think you would continue this argument even if verified documents surfaced that were written in his own hand and denouncing christianity.

Again, he was a private person and held his own beliefs about Christianity that weren't strictly in line with the pastor. That's common for people of intellect then as well as today.

And yet again, she was developing an argument that ended with a solid conclusion, which you repeatedly choose to ignore.

Perhaps you could provide some evidence to support your argument that Washington denounced Christianity or that the Southern Man ignores evidence. *shrug*
