Okay, hypothetical.

Obama, we know, has used some quiet diplomacy to pressure Pakastan to finally take action against the Swath Valley, move in the military, and take out what's left of AQ.

Now for the hypothetical. They find and capture or kill Osama. Who wants to predict Obama will get no credit from the Right for doing in his first 6-9 months what Bush couldn't do in 7.5 years. Anyone want to guess otherwise?

Stay tuned.
 
obama is way too much of a pussy to do something like that. he could barely give our sailors permission to pwn some pirates.

No, it's already happening. That wasn't the hypothetical.

The hypothetical is how Pakistan's military moves play out in the end - do they find Osama and does Obama get any credit for finally getting Pakistan to act?
 
I'd give Obama credit for continuing Bush's policies. The question is, will Democrats give Bush credit for instituting those policies? :pke:

Obama is a pussy, yet it was HIS policy to reach deeper into Pakistan. Bush and McCain opposed it .. before they endorsed it.

The way of the gun and bravado .. how well did that work out for Bush?

Who cares? Do you get patted on the back at work for doing your job right? No! You get a pay check. Bush deserves criticism for failing to apprehend or kill Osama. If Obama captures or kills him, well he's just simply done the job he's supposed to do.

Or let's ask this the other way around. If Obama doesn't capture or kill Osama by the end of his first term will he recieve the criticism from Democrats that Bush did?

Hell no. Even for the sake of argument that we do agree that Obama is continuing the Bush policies, Bush didn't get the job done and he dropped the ball and he didn't achieve the results.

If you insist that "Bush didn't get the job done and he dropped the ball and he didn't achieve the results" then you must be agreeing that he implemented those policies in the first place. But again, I don't expect any liberals to admit that. *shrug*

Anyway those were Bush's goals not mine.
And he did not accomplish them, or maybe he did? hmmm.

as far as bush is concerned it worked out pretty well for him. he pretty much got what he wanted.

That's because, unlike conservatives, he put more emphasis on saving the life of the captive than getting pleasure out of taking human life. Conservatives are the scum of the Earth. We'd be better off just hanging them. They aren't really human, it's no loss.
 
Denying that liberalism did in 6 months what conservatism/libertariansim couldn't in 8 years should be considered treason, punishable by death. That should take care of a lot of problems.

Liberalism=superior to all right wing ideologies. Objective fact. To deny this is to deny reality, and indicates defectiveness.
