Choking is just one type of asphyxiation. Floyd was asphyxiated due to Chauvin's knee pressing on his windpipe for nine minutes. As the medical examiner said, "Mr. Floyd's use of fentanyl did not cause the subdual or neck restraint. His heart disease did not cause the subdual or the neck restraint."
We saw from the video that Chauvin had help bringing down Floyd before the knee to neck. That's why the other three cops were also indicted in his death.

That raises the question, what's the difference between a regular insult and a racist insult? For example, we've all read Bullshitbob's filthy, degrading sexual slurs toward Owl but nobody says they are racist slurs toward all white women. That last time I read such filth as Bob's was when Ice Slut was still around. You don't like Owl so I expect you give him a pass for his ugliness.

Being charged is what gets you arrested. Floyd was in the process of being arrested. Guilty or not, the police had reasonable cause to arrest him.
avoiding the point. He was guilty of nothing. There are lots of potential defenses for that horrible earthshaking crime. They had no excuse to kill him.

No, you are making an irrelevant point. He was accidently killed, in part due to his use of dangerous, illegal drugs, during his arrest for a felony. His guilt or innocence has nothing to do with it.
