well, for awhile i am radioactive having taken a pill with radioactive iodine

this should kill off all of the healthy remaining thyroid tissue and at least 75% of the cancerous thyroid tissue

they will do a scan wednesday to find out how well it worked and where it spread to

oh well

Hi DQ,
You've been in this battle for quite a while now so, obviously, you're a fighter and that's as important as any medicine or treatment. Keep up that ol' PMA and you'll lick it. Good luck. God be with you. My wife is more religious than I am, so you'll be going on her church's prayer list with a candle today. I wonder what they'll say when they see "Don Quixote" posted. This star is reachable.

In the meantime, DQ, try to avoid the temptation of blowing up a major city such as NY, despite having the power of the gods for the time-being.

On a more serious note, good luck, and get well soon!! We need more posts from you about polimath and less about how the trials of your life manage to edge out those of Watermark's by a small margin (okay, I might have really strayed from the serious note, there...).

Hey DQ, it's nice to know I'm not the only one that glows in the dark and exposes x-ray films when I walk by them. :)
