Decentralized. When I lived in Europe from what I understood , the Swiss didn't even know who their president or chancellor or whatever their leader was. Basically there's free trade among the cantons but they're fairly autonomous.
An example: The second amendment wouldn't apply to the whole country. Texas might have liberal gun rights while guns may be totally outlawed in Washington state.

The best possible thing for you to do is just stop thinking about politics and government. Find something you know something about, and think about that.

You simply just don't have enough tools in your tool shed to be discussing politics or American Government!

Perhaps you skipped too much High School or something!

America is no longer capable of progressing "forward". Rather, it has entered a phase of cultural/civilizational decline.



The only hope of America not collapsing, would be for a conservative administration to order a mandatory measurement of the IQs of all American adults, and then deport all individuals scoring below 100 points.



Unfortunately, this can never happen now, so basically, you're fucked, buddy.



By the end of this century, your society will be like that of a Third-World shit-hole (Say, something along the lines of a Black and Hispanic/Latino version of The "Republic of South Africa").
