It was incredibly stupid and the man should resign and most of my Republican friends think he should resign too.

I don't give a shit what he did, it doesn't take any skin off my ass, I don't live in SC...His problems are with his constituents there and his wife..I condemned him on another site, but I'll be damned if I do it here just for you jack offs....

I feel the same way. It was also stupid to do it in the oval office. At least Sanford left the country for his rendevous and his wife knew about the affair.

I wouldn't of cared if Clinton was screwing a pack of sled dogs (male and female.) It's the fact he looked into that camera and Lied and said, I didn't have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky..and then tried to convince us that oral sex isn't sex...and then involved other people in his mess to obstruct justice...

If memory serves me correctly Clinton was on the phone with some government official from Florida at the time. Isn't that referred to as multi-tasking?

Talking about Sanford what is the ruckus about if his wife already knew? He was separated from her when he went to Argentina, wasn't he?

As for abandoning his post surely he is allowed to take a vacation. A friend of Sanford's was on CNN. He explained Sanford could be contacted in cases of emergency.

One would think that after 8 years of hearing "....an undisclosed location" people wouldn't think twice about a politician not being accessible to everyone, 24 hrs/day.
