Accept as many Afghan refugees as feasible

Does the far right genuinely care about the plight of Afghan civilians?

Or are they just averse to letting more Muslims (and future Democratic voters) into the country?

The Reichwingers want their brown Muslim refugees over there where they can be used as political props, not over here where they can become good tax-paying American citizens. Just ask the Kurds and Syrians.

I would say we are seeing a lot of phony crocodile tears if if one is frantically posting about Taliban atrocities, but not willing to accept as many vetted Afghan refugees as possible.

I've noticed since Afghanistan fell to the Taliban that they have also erected a huge strawman wearing combat boots and fatigues. "Our brave heroes did NOT die for nothing!" they scream in unison, echoing the RW media lies that that's what (D)s are saying.

I think every soldier goes through the “what the hell did I fight for”. My hubby experienced that when the large corporations moved into North Vietnam after we departed Vietnam. My hubby felt betrayed, but eventually realized that Capitalism was going to do what bombs and guns couldn’t.
