I read the VISA process is why there is a backlog of applicants and why there is a delay getting people out of the country, thus creating part of the chaos. It is just a real lack of preparation on the State Dept. part. The processes should have been started the moment Trump announced America was leaving Afghanistan. There were agencies with names that were ignored by both administrations.

It may be a deliberate 'Bureaucratic' roadblock. How many of the 300,000 Afghan soldiers do you want to admit? How about anyone who worked as a Cook for an American? Some people that worked for international organizations? After 20 years, half of Afghanistan might have a claim. (Just a thought as I sit on the sidelines)

It is not my decision, I doubt all 300,000 want to come to the USA, the majority are men, and they won’t suffer under the Taliban, in my opinion, because the Taliban aren’t going to kill 300,000 people, especially if they aren’t resisting. I heard they granted them amnesty.
