Full FDA Approval of Vaccine

Hello Darth,

Oh heck yeah. Hesitant? Yes. Full Approval will make all the difference for a lot of hold-outs. Many will now go get vaccinated.

Resistant? That's a different story. Those determined to resist any attempts to get them vaccinated will simply move the goal posts.

This ups the ante.

The hold outs will become a smaller and smaller minority as more and more people go ahead and get vaccinated.

Always the same with the left. Always pedal to the metal and damn the torpedoes.

Want to make the nursing shortage more acute? Make a national vax mandate for healthcare workers. Same ditto for the military. Do the same for public school kids and then watch school board meetings erupt with even some [formerly] liberal moms leading the way.

Why can’t you/they just leave well enough alone and simply allow people to make their own choices?

Different subjects, but the same concept. Might be worth considering.

How do we know a year from now that you won't be saying, "you know, more people really should have gotten the vaccine. I was wrong about that, but learned along the way...."

Maybe you’ll surprise us and admit you were wrong about something in a year lol. Or not.

I'll never favor mandatory vaccinations. But restrictions are logical, and in line w/ private enterprise.

We should encourage everyone to get vaccinated.

As is typical for the species, we'll wait until it's much too late to realize that. Imagine if COVID takes a turn and becomes something with a 10% mortality rate, or 20%. And we could have stopped it if we all just got vaccinated (or at least most of us).

Because that is getting people killed needlessly and raising the cost of heathcare, btw.

I wonder how much money it costs to have patients sitting in ambulances lined up outside ERs because the ER can't take them yet.

That's gotta cost some insurance companies a pretty penny. Gee. I wonder if they will pass those costs on to the consumer.

Baseless speculation. If I might invoke science, the trend is typically from lethal to less lethal but more contagious because the virus ‘wants’ to propagate itself and if it’s killing too many hosts it becomes a matter of negative selection pressure. IOW, natural selection is going to favor the less lethal variant because it will out compete the more lethal one. We may even be seeing this with Delta.

One of us has had some formal education on the topic.

You’ll stand by quietly as the government does an end-around on the mandates.

A common threat requires a common response.

FDA "approved"? So, what and where are the results from the control group(s)? They dissolved it back in February.
So, again...what and where are the official control group results/legitimate data required for "approval"?
I'll wait here. :whome:

Maybe they should go to witch doctor DeSantis.

Yeah. just ask Jesse Jackson & his wife.
Jesse was vaccinated back in January, and it seems both are recovering, so what is your point?

5 good reasons for the FDA to give full approval to COVID-19 vaccines: Analysis

" As early as this coming week, according to The New York Times, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is expected to give full approval to Pfizer-BioNTech's coronavirus vaccine -- the first COVID-19 vaccine expected to receive that endorsement.

The FDA's approval might seem like a minor technical move to some. But full approval of all three COVID-19 vaccines is an important step that can make a difference in reducing COVID-19 infection and mortality rates, improving health care delivery and saving lives.

Here's why:

1. The approval will empower health care professionals to address the myth of "experimental vaccines."

2. Approval of the vaccines will get more kids vaccinated.

3. Approval will provide us with longer-term safety data.

4. Approval will provide employers with greater authority to mandate vaccines.

5. Approval will allow the prescribing of vaccines for "off-label" use."

Now with that Pfizer vaccine been approved by the FDA, employers can now mandate that their employees be vaccinated?!!:good4u:
