The ANA had been fighting the Taliban for at least 5 years now. Just like our troops and that of the Yanks. They needed the intelligence and the ground attack air support. Biden without any warning to the Afghan government, to the ANA or the NATO allies, pulled the plug on that intelligence effectively blinding them.

For every soldier on the front line there are more in support roles, cooks, drivers, electricians in non-ombat roles. Just like any other Army in the world. They are estimated to have 70,000 effective front line troops that have not been paid for 6 months.

How are the ANA to deploy those troops in a country that is ten times the size of the UK. Without the intelligence telling them where the Taliban are forming to attack.

Trump did not have any plan to leave the ANA and Afghanistan without the intelligence and air support it needed. Abandoning Baghram without securing the withdrawal of all civilians is not in any plan that Trump has. If you say he has then show it. Biden was confronted and asked to show any plan that Trump had that dictated a withdrawal identical to what Biden ordered.

The reality is that the Afghan army has lost 69,000 troops killed in action fighting the Taliban who are made up with foreign islamic fanatics. Yes, 80% of the Taliban are NOT Afghan nationals. They are fanatics funded by Iran, Pakistan and every despot around the world. Biden just gave ISIS, Al-Queda and every Islamic terrorist the safe haven they needed to be able to conduct attacks on the Western world.

To say the ANA did not have the will to fight is the parroting of the excuses of Biden's incompetent administration and their camp followers.

The Taliban , today, are in large part young Islamic students drawn from the madrassas. The bulk of the Taliban , or ' students ', are Pashtun tribesmen, the Pashtun occupying areas of both Pakistan and Afghanistan. As Pashtuns they do not recognize the political borders of ' Pakistan ' or ' Afghanistan ' so the maggot's claim that ' 80% of the Taliban are not Afghans ' follows his , usual, stupid , rabble-rousing shrieking. Your own claim should have been that many of the Pashtun tribesmen come from regions you call ' Pakistan ' - but they are Pashtun, not ' Pakistani '. Argue with them if you like.

The UK has entered the final stages of its Kabul evacuation and no more people will be called to the airport to leave, the Ministry of Defence says.

"It is with deep regret that not everyone has been able to be evacuated during this process," Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said.

The MoD said processing facilities at the Baron Hotel, outside the airport in Kabul, had been closed.

The US, which is running the airport, is withdrawing its troops by 31 August.

It comes after two explosions hit Kabul airport on Thursday, killing some 90 people - among them 13 US military personnel.

At least 150 people were also wounded in the attack, which the so-called Islamic State group says it was behind.

On Friday morning, the MoD said 13,708 people had been evacuated by the UK from Kabul under Operation Pitting, which began on 13 August. (the US has evacuated the U.S. has evacuated or helped to evacuate approximately 70,00 people from Afghanistan since Aug. 14)


Wallace said this included nearly 8,000 Afghans eligible under the UK's relocation scheme for those who worked for the UK government and other vulnerable individuals, as well as 4,000 British passport holders.

Others evacuated include embassy staff and nationals from partner nations.

The defence secretary said the operation was "a remarkable achievement" in a "very hostile environment".

But he told LBC Radio around 800 to 1,100 eligible Afghans would be left behind, as well as approximately 100 to 150 British nationals, some of whom he said were staying willingly.
