1 Out Of Every 509 Americans Has Died Of COVID

Argument from repetition fallacy.

And also -
Fallacy fallacy...which is a fallacy where someone accuses someone else of using a fallacy to avoid answering for their beliefs and positions in a debate.

Probably true, but from my part of Texas we just say "Bullllllshit!"...then whisper in our horse's ear our true loves name. Texas can be odd at times. Notice our politics.

BTW, I dearly love Texas. We have so much freedom we're allowed to fuck up as much as we like! I love my freedom.

Hello Dutch Uncle,

That's because Trump lied his ass off about it for half a year in order to protect his business assets. Trump didn't give a fuck how many people died.

Same goes for 1/6. Does anyone here really believe Trump gave a shit how many people were going to get hurt or killed?

Trump is really good at getting other people to pick fights. He appears to derive pleasure in it.

Agreed. Didn't the decadent Caesars love to see Roman citizens kill each other in the arena?

Trump is no Caesar, but he certainly wanted to be.

No it hasn't. Not here in the US. Not a single person in the US died from the vaccine.

Agreed. They died because they fell into the statistic of the vaccine not saving them from COVID.

They died after a COVID infection....something the RWNJ Trump supporters hate to admit.

Or they were ancient, nonagenarians with cardio pulmonary disease which gets exacerbated by COVID, vaccine or not.

A healthy person with the vaccination who chances to catch COVID will suffer less than one who wasn't vaccinated since they do have some built up immunity/resistance.

Anyone who doesn't understand how Euro diseases, most of which the Euros had a built in immunity, was a key factor in the decimation of Native Americans is less likely to understand the point about vaccinations, resistance and a Pandemic in 2021. Clearly the example of the 1918 Pandemic eludes their thought processes.

I mean, I'm content to stay in my house for another 12 months to let the disease wipe out all the dumb fucks for good.

Ain't no new variant gonna get me if I don't make myself a target for it.

I trust the doctors of those patients to do what is best for them.

Your point proves that wearing a mask is a civic duty since it reduces the spread of all diseases and, therefore, reduces the risk of infection of these "immunosuppressed persons".

Last year the number of US flu deaths was reduced. Why? Masks, hand washing, social distancing.

I like my freedom but I don't want to be responsible for the harm, much less death, to another person. If wearing a mask, social distancing and hand sanitizer helps save lives, I'll do it. Most people feel as I do. Some people are assholes who don't give a fuck if some old geezer or sick person dies.

What are your thoughts on this, Stretch?

Fine. Your choice. The science states that masks do not work for particles that are aerosolized which is the problem with a virus. The openings in a mask are too large for blocking an aerosol.
That being said, by all means wear a mask. It's your choice. When I am somewhere and asked to mask up, I do it with no comment, no sermon, no attitude. The last thing we should want to
do is add additional stress (a big morbidity) to someone else's fears and anxiety.

Masks definitely work, which is why FL and TX are COVID disasters right now, while NY and New England are not.
