The specialty of the first week of this particular college football season is that we’re seeing the return of fans at most stadiums for the first time in nearly two years because of the pandemic.

The return of full crowds means the return of traditions and check out the crowd at Camp Randall Stadium when the speakers blared ‘Jump Around’ by House of Pain for the first time in 651 days.

The masks and vaccines and "social distancing" are to stop gatherings like that from happening.

That is the main purpose behind it, to isolate people from each other.

Respectfully, that's conspiracy stuff.

It assumes that politicians just want to control people - and don't care about the economy doing well, and consequently, getting re-elected.

The latter is all any politician cares about. This isn't Orwell. No one wants to isolate people and see the economy tank.

Yet that's exactly what's happening..it is.

Both sides of the political aisle are mad at that governor in Michigan. The people, anyway.
