Emotions are base animalism. It's intellect that is the higher function of human beings. Many mammals have a reasoning ability which varies by species, but mankind is far superior in that respect than any other mammals*. All are emotional even if those emotions are limited to sexual drive and fear.
Like a person who loses one of their senses focuses more on developing the others, dogs, lacking man's reasoning abilities, do focus more on emotion.
One way to determine the intellect of people on JPP is how much weight they give to emotion in their posts and how much they give to intellect. Many fall on the backside of the curve. You're one of them, Fredo.
