Taking Ivermectin Causes Male Infertility And Sterilization?

BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

A flurry of recent viral news articles have claimed that ivermectin, the anti-parasitic drug that some people are taking for Covid-19 prevention or treatment, despite no evidence of efficacy, causes infertility in men. But is this really true?
Much of the articles seem to link back to a Nigerian study from 2011 in which men with a disease called onchocerciasis, a parasitic worm infection which can cause blindness and skin disease, were treated with ivermectin, a recognized and approved treatment for this illness.
Some of the headlines are claiming that 85% of men on Ivermectin were rendered infertile after the treatment, but there are several reasons to be very skeptical about this claim.
Firstly, the research looked at 385 patients with onchocerciasis, but ultimately decided to only enroll 37 of them in the study, excluding a whopping 90% of potential participants due to initial low sperm counts. This alone is a huge red flag which wasn’t really addressed in the paper. Why was there such a high number of men with already low sperm counts in their study population? Well, that might well be due to the parasite itself.
“In regards to this Nigerian study from 2011, it is important to consider the context of ivermectin indication,” said Ranjith Ramasamy, MD, urologist and Director of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at the University of Miami Health System in Florida. “All included men were infected with onchocerciasis (river blindness) and it is known that infection itself can cause declining male fertility,” said Ramasamy.
The 37 men were treated with ivermectin for 11 months and at the end of this period, the researchers state that 85% of participants had “significant reduction in the sperm counts and sperm motility of the patients tested” and a “significant increase in the number of abnormal sperm cells”. It’s important to remember two things here; 1) these men had the same disease that stopped 90% of men participating in the first place and were probably quite sick and 2) 37 people is not a lot of people to include in a scientific study to make such firm conclusions.
Essentially, it’s really impossible to tell whether the ivermectin had any effect on sperm counts or quality in these men at all and the FDA does not list infertility as a side effect of ivermectin administration. Another study in rats showed some effect on fertility in male rats, but again the study wasn’t particularly convincing. Ivermectin is also frequently used as an anti-parasitic for horses including those used in commercial horsebreeding and you would think that people breeding horses might notice if their male horses were all infertile. No such issues have been reported and horses continue to exist and have baby horses, despite the widespread use of ivermectin.

No link but not to be expected otherwise from these arseholes. Here are a number of studies that support the efficacy of Ivermectin in treating Covid sysmptoms.

Well, the MAGA morons that don't die will be sterile so that's the next best thing because they can't reproduce.

Such an ignorant cunt!

Article at gnews reports on announcement by Dr. Ozaki, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical Association Greenlight for Ivermectin in Japan. Excerpts in italics with my bolds.

Since Tokyo summer Olympic Game ended on August 8, 2021, the urgent status of the pandemic as Japan is now in its worst surge of the COVID-19 pandemic since the onset of the crisis in such a megacity of 14 million. Most recently, a record number of new cases were reported at 20,140 on August 14. Deaths aren’t as high as successive waves of the pandemic from February 2021 to the end of May, but nerves are frayed with record numbers of infections. Dr. Ozaki, The chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical Association, recently led an emergency press conference on August 13, Dr. Haruo Ozaki shared those 18,000 new infections are reported daily. However, the death count has eased as compared to previous surges.

How to deal with the current dilemma is a huge challenge to Japanese government and medical agencies? Fortunately, India has an excellent testimonial. Since April 28, India medical officials started providing Hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin to its massive population. As India is the major pharmaceutical manufacture in the world, they were ready for this massive drug distribution. Miraculously, COVID cases have plummeted quickly since then thanks to the new rules.

Much like what was successfully accomplished in India, parts of Bangladesh, and places like Argentina and Mexico,
Chairman Ozaki calls for the immediate use of ivermectin as cases surge in Japan.

Dr. Ozaki declared that ivermectin has demonstrated significant benefits in reducing infections and deaths where the regimen is prophylactically administered for another indication. With the encouraging medical data from ivermectin clinical trials’ reports worldwide, especially the one from FLCCC of US and BIRD of UK, the head of the Metropolitan Medical Association declared that while clinical trials were important, it was time to greenlight doctors to prescribe ivermectin in association with giving the patient informed consent.

Finally, greenlight for Ivermectin is on in the first developing country since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, giving hope to all countries and regions. Perhaps this time because Japan did not have the big Pharma entering the COVID vaccine market, the government did not get much pressure. So the Japanese government’s anti-epidemic policy basically reflects a normal democratic regime should do, that is, to protect the health of the people. Expect the miracle of ivermectin in India to happen again.

Protocols with HCQ or Ivermectin plus nutritional supplements fill the need for early home treatment.

Footnote: Many people are confused about the fact that IVM has long been approved for human use

The FDA approval is here The issue is that the list of infections does not include Covid19.

The same thing is true for HCQ:

Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are both FDA-approved to treat or prevent malaria. Hydroxychloroquine is also approved to treat autoimmune conditions such as chronic discoid lupus erythematosus, systemic lupus erythematosus in adults, and rheumatoid arthritis. Both drugs have been prescribed for years to help patients with these debilitating, or even deadly, diseases, and FDA has determined that these drugs are safe and effective when used for these diseases in accordance with their FDA-approved labeling. Of note, FDA approved products may be prescribed by physicians for off-label uses if they determine it is appropriate for treating their patients, including during COVID.

It amazes me that some people will actually take unproven and dangerous meds rather than use scientifically-PROVEN means to prevent COVID infection. WTF. No wonder snake oil salesmen were such a prosperous bunch back in the day.

Oh, I hope so.

I have read a bit on ivermectin. What I read does not say it will not cause infertility. It does not work on Covid either. Just another bleach treatment for rightys.
