Ginsburg: I thought Roe was to rid undesirables

THE TRUTH?!

Look, I've always found myself a little horrified by turn of the century progressivism. They wanted to ban alcohol and abortion, hated immigrants, and had a fixation on eugenic. That's one reason I've always called myself a "liberal" instead of a "progressive". If you want me to say "Margaret Sanger, like most Progressives in the early 1900's, was obsessed with eugenics", it would be the easiest thing in the world to admit. It's just good FDR's New Deal Liberalism came in and wiped that shit off the map, eh? They took all the good parts and through away the parts, like banning alcohol and abortion, that came from Conservatives.

Oh look this gal says of Planned Parenthood what I've been saying of the Democrat Party. From my earlier link:

*shrug*

Irrespective of what that "gal" has to say or even what her uncle had to say on this issue .. things like you aren't fighting against abortion to save black children.

In spite of the supposed credibility you'd like to attach to being the neice of of a famous person, she's flat wrong.

She was a eugenicist, complete with Nazi friends and everything.

T

And, even more disingenuously, claim that because she was disappointed that things didn't turn out the way she intended somehow validates the idiotic claim.

the comment I am referring to is this....

"So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion. Which some people felt would risk coercing women into having abortions when they didn't really want them. But when the court decided McRae, the case came out the other way. And then I realized that my perception of it had been altogether wrong."

do you believe she was opposed to Medicaid funding for abortion?......

She was opposed to the idea that Medicaid funding would be used to coerce women into having abortions they did not want.

That does not imply in any way, shape, or form that she approved RoevWade because it would rid us of undesirables.

Interpret this ...

"So we have a policy that affects only poor women, and it can never be otherwise, and I don't know why this hasn't been said more often."

Does that reflect that she has CONCERN for poor women or DISDAIN for them?

Margaret Sanger, founder of planned parenthood, was a eugenicist with nazi friends.

You already said that .. what is the point?

A woman's right to choose is not championed by nazis and they aren't following some nazi plan.

Abortion doesn't just affect non-arryan women and the left has no fear of it .. Arryans do.

Killing the unwanted is the unifying theme.

Nazis killed plenty of aryans, retards, useless eaters, political criminals, poor white trash etc.

lefties love mass murder, by the way. So do the righties.

it reflects her disdain for a system which only affects them, which is why she was in favor of a Medicaid system which freely provided them with abortions....the net result of which is obviously a reduction in their children....

In an astonishing admission, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg says she was under the impression that legalizing abortion with the 1973 Roe. v. Wade case would eliminate undesirable members of the populace, or as she put it "populations that we don't want to have too many of."

Her remarks, set to be published in the New York Times Magazine this Sunday but viewable online now, came in an in-depth interview with Emily Bazelon titled, "The Place of Women on the Court."
