Slow down, Senate Democrats told President Barack Obama

It would be nice to have a bill before fall.

But if the senators want to lose their seats debating a bill that was essentially worked out by 2008, that's fine with me, as long as the Republicans don't repeal it entirely when they win the house and senate in 2010 b/c, as we all could have told beforehand, healthcare didn't work out in eight months.

Even in the Bill that was on the table and being worked on, it didn't start for five years.

Is there anyone surprised that Senate Democrats are cowards?

Is there any news here?

Slow down because we don't want to actually do anything, we just want to look like we're doing something.

If this healthcare bill were to actually pass, there isn't a snowballs chance in hell that any politician of republican or democrat bent will even consider repealing this program. government programs never die, they just suck the life out of whatever they are attached to.
