In a nauseatingly melodramatic performance he choked back snot as he appeared to sob about how he feared for his life the day he shot and killed two people at a Black Lives Matter demonstration in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Defense attorney Mark Richards tried to paint Rittenhouse as a misunderstood honorable, patriotic Boy Scout who simply liked to shoot guns.

The Kenosha Police Chief put in for retirement shortly after all the revelations about his connections with the local white supremacists. I don't know if he can be charged with anything.

No such thing as guilty of self-defense. When he both endangered two innocent people and transported his underage self and illegally possessed weapon to the streets, then he committed a crime.

I'm still thinking he could get 10-15 years on that. The self-defense is sketchy because he's the one that initiated the situation by showing up armed but he was, indeed, attacked and has a lawful right to defend himself with deadly force if he felt himself endangered. That doesn't allow him to endanger others.

he shot someone that charged him......someone that had already threatened him.....that skateboarder was not acting in self defense. You're massively delusional to believe that someone who chased another person down the street because he was armed was acting in self defense..........it goes back to that same circumstance you put on rittenhouse.......he stupidly put himself in that position when he didn't have to be there. Had he had a pistol and shot rittenhouse, he'd be in the same position that rittenhouse is in now, trying to defend his actions........with the video presented as evidence, it might be a difficult defense

I'd be happy to lead as many people in the same direction and assist anyone who needs help, but my Plan A is escape and call 911. Others go towards the noise, even if only with a skateboard.

People just saw him shoot a man. Then they saw him shoot a second man. If I was on my rooftop with my trusty ol' scoped rifle, would I be taking down an active shooter if I put one through his chest after he shot the second man?
