He is either an INodonesian citizen or a naturalized US citizen, and no longer considered natrual born. THIS is what he is trying to hide! and as soon as the birth cert comes out it will create such smoke that the question about indonesia, the true question, will be thrown on the scrap heep of history. As i rememebr, his college record form Occidental desribe him as an INdonesian ctizen

it has more information than the copy obama has given....as i do not know what is in the original i can't say....however, if i recall there was an issue over which hospitial he was born in and the original would provide all that information....

how can you defend, other than claiming petty nonsense that onceler agrees in, obama not spending 10 minutes and 10 dollars to help clear this up. at a minimum it would have been nice to do for HI as they were deluged with requests, so much so that they had to make another press conference. even if he wants to be an immature lousy leader by taunting those (dems included that is where onceler is so dumb on this issue) who want proof......he could have at least alleviated HI's burden on this

it would also have put to rest the lie that obama has released his original....the more lies out there the more people see a cover up

unlike that stupid study where people were not told the which articles were the truth....here we have officials who actually saw his original and claim he was in fact born there...

i don't think it is a backfire effect to simply not believe a source, that study was pure caca because they tried to infer that not believing a source was the same as not believing without a doubt factual truth....

Presidents don't go out of their way to appease fanatics. As meme has already stated, they are going to dig in & STILL fight on this issue, even though adequate proof has been provided of his citizenship.

Like Darla said, this is just further embarassment for the right. It's not Obama's issue that they continue to see this as a valid fight...

Explain how Indonesia can revoke another country's citizenship. It has no standing to do so. Only the U.S. can revoke U.S. citizenship. Obama has no ties to Indonesia either by birth or by naturalization. Soetoro wasn't related to him by blood. Obama was a temporary, full-time resident for 4 years or so. Do some research into Indonesian citizenship laws.

Obama was born in the U.S. of an American mother, automatically granting him citizenship. If he had been born in Kenya of an American mother, he would STILL be a U.S. citizen. Case closed.

It has standing to reject citizenship from those who do not denounce previous citizenships. At that time Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship at all and if you were going to be an Indonesian citizen you were required to renounce any previous ties. This, of course, does not mean that the US has to recognize such a "renunciation".

In fact many nations do that.

And according to the law at that time if he had been born in Kenya, and she had not lived in the US for 5 years after her 14th birthdate (19th birthday) he would not be a US citizen.

as usual you miss the point due to extreme partisanship...you don't care about this country or government officials in HI, all you care about is if you think the repubs get to look bad. i used to think there was more to you than being a simple hack, but this issue really shows that all you truly care about is making the right look bad, screw the country....

Nope, US can not revoke U.S. citizen ship, do some research into US citizenship law. and i never claimed such. Sorry, not case closed.

where did I say Indonesia revoked his citizenship? stop putting words in my mouth. His mother voluntarily gave it up when she agreed to allow soetero to adopt bobo. indonesia did not allow dual citizenship until only sometime int he 1970's.
