Well they don't like it now.

Remember blacks weren't supposed to be cerebral enough to play quaterback. It was the last bastion of racist supremacy. Good black quarterbacks like Drew Pearson were turned into wide recievers or cornerbacks and never given the opportunity to play quarterback in the NFL.

Think about Limbaugh's comment about a certain Philadelphia Eagle quaterback.

Vick being the highest paid player in the NFL and a quarterback was a target .. something he should have recognized.
