Right/Wrong Track Polls..

I was waiting for take out yesterday with two self proclaimed moderates who both voted for Obama- they were not happy with him. :)

I would say the country is on the wrong track too though and most of you know my politics by now.

Oh, dear me - that is truly devastating.

I wonder if Obama knows about this? 2 people, you say? Are you sure you have the count right?

Yeah but during the buildup to the Iraq invasion the right track polls were high.

Just proves people are stupit.

No reason to get your panties in a wad, just a little anecdotal evidence to lend credence to what the polls are suggesting. *shrug*

a little anecdotal evidence lends little credence... but thanks for sharing.

I was in a bible study meeting over lunch today, and nearly everyone at the meeting was quite pleased with the president's performance thus far...

but I realize full well that such anecdotal evidence really means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

LOL Bible study in one of the most radically liberal denominations in America, and they all worship Obama. Whouda thunk that?

better than a week and a half ago.... HUGELY better than before the election of Barack Obama!
Actually a week and a half ago the numbers were higher for "right track" than they are now. It is most definitely down from the "peak" of 46.4% saying "right track" which hit in June.

Historically, it seems that this time of year in a President's first year, the polls always drop. I think Clinton's did, Bush's did and now Obama. It has struck me as interesting, I might have to check it out. I think it is probably due to the fact that gas prices and prices in general go up during the summer which is smack dab in the middle of all new President's first year in office. People are also returning to jobs after summer vacation and they are just generally more grumpy and dissatisfied!

Well, I was talking with three people who hate Barack Obama and they said that they hated Barack Obama, so there you have it.

My next door neighbour said his dog growled when Barack Obamas appeared briefly on the telly screen last week.

Frankly, i don't think you can argue with that.

Babies and dogs, so the saying goes!

That depends was the dog wearing a hat, or is your friend a barbarian?

Yeah well it IS a recession.
People are predictable on things like this.
I figure many of those who think we are on the wrong track now voted for Bush in 2004.
