Oh, good Gawd. Where does this rightwing myth come from, that liberals are out there proclaiming that blacks or Hispanics are universally pure and can’t be prejudiced, biased, or racist.

I’ve never, not once, seen a liberal or person of color proclaim that.

The issue is that, racism as an institutional and societal problem, doesn’t affect white people in the least little bit. White males have never experienced any inconvenience because of their skin color.

Inequality, injustice, and plain old every day inconvenience only affects minorities.. This is self evident, and any self respecting intelligent person can acknowledge that. Racism is an issue of equality, not about making sure every single person on the planet has a pure, unbiased soul.

I’ve never had one single problem or inconvenience in my life that I could directly attribute to my skin color or gender. And neither have any of the crybaby white male conservatives in cyberspace who whine about white male victimhood.

that said....it is stupid to use this example of racism as justification for gate's racism....if this email is true, its one stupid cop....thats it, nothing more.

You generalize way too much, and have a tendency to take one or 2 comments, blow them out of proportion & then apply them to a much larger group.

The reason for this is simple: you are a full-blown partisan hack, ingesting a near-constant flow of right-wing koolaid.

i'm wondering the same thing....i mean how stupid does one have to be...if this is true....the guy should be reprimanded and/or fired...this is damaging to the department as a whole

That's my point. I'm having a hard time believing that even a racist could be quite this stupid. Although it would be easy to say I was a cop and send an e-mail like this. (I am not saying this is what happened, just that I don't yet have all the information and am trying to fit this in the framework of society today and how people react to things.)
