I swear this obnoxious old biddy gets off on misery.
Remember how giddy she was when the stock market was crashing? How she literally cheered the carnage? She cheered as people lives were being altered and their businesses were being shuttered. Some of those small businesses never recovered and are closed to this day. These werent multi millionaires,....they were hard working middle to upper middle class people who lost their life savings in the lockdowns and never came back. We all KNOW what she was cheering for that day. She wasnt just cheering a tanking market,....she was cheering on the destruction of this country and capitalism itself. She wanted the whole thing to go up in flames so that the country would have no choice but to accept some form of Communism. THAT.... or starve.
But she didnt get her wish. In fact,....she didnt even come close. She found out that Capitalism and this country are MUCH MUCH stronger than what she thought they were. Her long held dream was RIPPED from her and to this day she is sadly disappointed. YOU LOSE POLITALKER.
Her own words from that day convict her. She was willing to sacrifice all the little guys if it took down the big guys. You all know the kinds of places......Joes Pizza palace, Marys Cafe, Richardsons hardware,.....places like that. She openly cheered for their destruction. Politalker will NEVER live it down, nor should she. The kind of thing she was advocating for that day is about as evil as it gets. And SHE has the nerve to have some policy where if people talk to her rudely she will put them on permanent ignore? REALLY? Excuse me but......

Omicron is very different. It is more vaccine resistant (I have seen 57% effective after boosting) and more contagious, but especially among the vaccinated, exhibits mild or no symptoms. That is a recipe for an incredibly rapid spread of the virus. It also gives the vaccine defiant a talking point. Not one based on logic, science, or math, but a talking point nonetheless. 'Why so many cases?'. They make the argument because they are simpletons and have no desire to educate themselves. I guess it feels good to them to be stupid. It won't feel that great when they make a trip to the ICU.
The answer? Get vaccinated. Wear a mask. Sadly, because the unvaccinated are so selfish, it also means we can't have family get togethers. I learned that one the hard way. It was a hard pass for me on her families Christmas celebration. The asswipe that gave it to me last time will be there. I have many reasons not to want to see him. I've visiting Minnesota, but my activities are probably going to be limited to hanging out with friends and family that I am 100% sure are vaxxed (because each one can string together a cogent thought on Covid).

yes it is different. very mild affects and very short time ill. usually less than 24 hours, some fever and "feel bad", much like a mild cold, much less severe than the annual flu.
The vaccines don't work, we know that (and yes I got the vax, moderna last February). Masks don't work. a .3 micron filter will never stop a .0125 micron virus cell. plus the masks most wear do not seal at the sides, bottom, or top. They are a joke and probably make you sick by breathing your own CO2 a second time.
You are correct, but it goes deeper. The new republicans have no idea what leadership is, or even what expertise is. They are angry, and stupid, so they picked trump. Even if trump died tomorrow, these idiots would still control the republican party.

This as several Western nations chime in that OMICRON is 40-70% less lethal than Delta, and SA, which has a very low vax rate, says that at worst OMICRON is 80% less lethal.
Then don't worry about your lack of vaccination. When you go to the ICU you will probably be able to check out, eventually. Unless you are the unlucky one. Suit yourself.
