Is the West Becoming Pagan Again?

The younger generation is ruled by secularism.
And as far as Christians ,probably less than half are really Christians. The rest identify as Christian because their family was,is,Catholic,Lutheran, whatever, without ever thinking about their socalled beliefs at all.
It's exactly what Jesus warned about.
"Many come in my name, but they aren't mine"

Bigotry. True Scotsman fallacy.

Bigotry. True Scotsman fallacy.

Not really a true scotsman fallacy. He actually has a point here in regards to passive inclusion or active inclusion. Clearly he made this distinction.

Passive enculturation vs active participation.

He fails tho in that he's drawing a wide interpretation of something never said by his spiritual leady who clearly could not be named jesus without a lengthy explanation for why a vengeful jealous one god, would somehow mistakenly be named for what sounds exactly like marry zeus to an ancient roman. The people who likely made up the whole thing after killing whoever it really was they stole it from.

Leaving this one rough fkit.

"When in A.D. 384 Christians succeeded in removing the pagan Altar of Victory from the Roman Senate, where it had stood for almost four centuries, the pagan statesman Symmachus understood that Rome’s tolerance would henceforth be denied to those who had built it. If we know Symmachus for one sentiment today, it is his condemnation of Christianity’s dogmatic claims to truth as an affront against common sense. “There cannot be only one path toward such a great mystery,” he said.

Paganism is associated with polytheism. One God does not have to dominate. There is not one universal truth for all.

There is.
Birth.
Death.

Haw, haw.................................haw.

Oh, thats your "catch phrase"?

Like your catch phrases are "the faggot god of the faggot people" and "ji-zeus(marry zeus)"?

If you were sane, and honest, you'd admit you are pepo man but you are, IMO, severely lacking in both sanity and honesty.

Dont blame me, youre kind are the shit for brains that never in 2 thousand years bothered to check what jesus sounds like to a roman.

Human sacrifices are not necessarily part of a pagan religion.
Examples: Shinto (including indian variants), Erda (Norse myths), sorcery, Buddhism, Hindu, Sikh, Olympian (Greek myths), Spartan (Roman myths), Ra (ancient Egyptian myths).
You are describing the practice of the Aztec and some Polynesian religions, which are actually a form of Shinto. Some of it appeared in Africa, and isolated patches around Europe and in some isolated patches of the United States.

The practice of human sacrifice tended to follow what are known as 'fertility' religions. The sacrifice was often a women or a child for this reason (that and that men are generally able to fight back more effectively!)(.

Interesting comment considering that many of the Aztec wars were for the purpose of obtaining captives for sacrifice ... thereby saving their own people.

By suggesting that Aztec and Polynesian religions were a form of Shinto suggest contact between those cultures which has never been shown ... although I would agree with the similarities.

Its a hairball to say much of anything about the aztecs incans or myans. They're dead and gone. All slaughtered by spanish catholics and then forcibly indoctrinated. And we're talking about a people who warp, revise, erase, and rewrite history. Not to mention whole natural propensities just as a matter of course. You'd have a better and more worthwhile time of discussing what harry potter likes for breakfast.
