The "R's" don't have a platform. Literally - they do not have a platform.

So, as the cult that they are, it would not surprise me a bit if they abandoned trying to solve the country's issues, and instead focused on tons of investigations, and plans to get Trump re-elected and set up daily worship sessions for him.

Which I'm sure will bode well for them in future elections.
 
And the chicken-counting is hilarious. I'd agree that as of today, it looks like Dems will lose Congress.

But it's forever until the election. If Biden passes his build back legislation, if Roe is seriously infringed upon, if the 1/6 revelations freak people out, if Republicans continue to focus on election lies & conspiracies, if Omicron ends up giving us herd immunity and the economy continues to grow - I mean, that's all stuff that could flip a fence-sitting independent quite easily.

It would be really funny if the Dems ended up expanding their majority.

I woulda just had a vote to have him censured. That probably would've succeeded. Impeachment not only failed but because of that failure made dims look silly. Which is what TDS causes.

I'll have to re-state my opinion. It was an attempt to document a Historical Event that has never been seen before.

I woulda just had a vote to have him censured. That probably would've succeeded. Impeachment not only failed but because of that failure made dims look silly. Which is what TDS causes.

There is no possible bipartisan agreement on the need for an impeachment of Biden so that's just a waste of time, just as it was for the idiot Progressive Democrats to do it twice to Trump with no possibility of it working.

Hopefully the DOJ and 1/6 Congressional Committee will find multiple reasons to hold Cancun Cruz in criminal contempt and referred to the DOJ for prosecution, like twice impeached former fake president tRump and other seditious repukes cluttered up in Congress. Cancun Cruz has been at war against Democracy for a long time, and it's time to consider putting closure to this seditious and dysfunctional tyrant.
