Why didn't Biden, Pelosi, Obama, Schumer, Waters or other democrats call off BLM?

Hmm, let's think about that for a minute. Cops shoot and kill unarmed black men. A movement arises to protest this disparity in law enforcement. People both black and white march in solidarity to demand better policing and equitable treatment.

The only people who find this scary and repellent are racist whites. Why would anyone else call for them to stop marching?

Once again, the attempt to equate an angry mob attempting to overturn an American election because their guy lost, with protests by citizens over racial injustice, is a #BigHugeFail.

Dismissed.

Cannot agree with you there.

These are always guys who resist arrest and fight with the cops which in turn causes the cops to escalate the level of force. This naturally increases the chance that weapons will be drawn because of their instinct to protect themselves.

Cops are human and do the most difficult and important job in society.

I understand that in hindsight, it sometimes becomes apparent that deadly force was not needed, but these are mistakes made in the heat of confrontation and which rarely if ever, represent examples of the kind of "Hollywood movie villain" style of blatant, bigoted racism which is the way it always gets portrayed as being.

In virtually every case that has resulted in demonstrations, had the criminals being arrested not fought with the police and put them in potential danger, there would have been no deaths.

I really find it sad that some people on the far left go so far outside the realm of reality and common sense to demonize the police and sanctify some low rent thugs who most of you who engage in it, wouldn't live in the same neighborhood with or would lock your car doors if you saw them approaching.

Let's look at the REAL equivalencies here, putting aside the fact that the Capitol rioters ATTACKED THE SEAT OF DEMOCRACY. I'll save that for later. In both of these situations, there were peaceful and LAWFUL protests, but some of the protestors then engaged in criminal activities. This is an important distinction, and one that Trumptards seem incapable of making. So now, let's look at the reactions of Biden and Trump to those who engaged in criminal activity:

Biden

"I want to make it clear again: there is absolutely no justification—none—for looting. No justification for violence."

“The deadly violence we saw overnight in Portland is unacceptable […] as a country we must condemn the incitement of hate and resentment that led to this deadly clash. It is not a peaceful protest when you go out spoiling for a fight.”

Trump - "We love you. You're special people"

Now, can we end this idiotic discussion about how these are even remotely the same?

false, you forget Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, Harris, and others all took a knee while innocent people were being attacked during BLM

I agree it is, it will also make Biden a one term President like Trump and Carter

The Democrats supported peaceful demonstrations which is the Constitutional right of every American.

They did not encourage rioting, burning or looting.

Huge difference between that and what Trump incited.

You take the prize for best post on this thread. I'll retire from the field now.

Well done.
