Long story short: Zuckerberg ran polling stations lock, stock, and barrel!

Why is this only now coming out?! I cannot get my head around why our government and the FEC would allow a private citizen with an agenda to do this!

"During 2020, nonprofits donated more than $400 million to state and local election boards to support their work and get out the vote. Most of the funding, around $350 million, came from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, distributed primarily through the Center for Tech and Civic Life, or CTCL, a Chicago-based progressive-led group that includes former operatives of President Obama."

"Florida’s election bill to ban the funding, like those in several other states, was part of an omnibus voting measure that also codified rules regarding mail-in ballots and the responsibilities of poll watchers. Moves to restrict that funding have been opposed with the help of an army of lobbyists funded by progressive groups including New Venture, the Hopewell Fund, Secure Democracy and Represent.us."

Just look at this map! The blue is where Zuckerberg concentrated the money.

Facebook had to pay a $5 billion fine for not preventing Russian interference in our elections to support trump.

That was 2016. In 2020 Zuckerberg funded entire polling centers complete with workers lock, stock, and barrel (concentrating oh so coincidentally) in key swing states run by Democrats only.

Idk why this was even allowed but I sure would like to see their training sessions.

There was clearly Russian interference to benefit trump in the 2016 election. There was an entire $5 billion fine for it. If there is any evidence that it did not happen, Facebook will gladly pay you a lot of money for it.

You are mistaken on several points. He donated money to polling centers, but did not pay for them completely. The money went to makeup for funding shortfalls, because this last election was more expensive than usual. He donated to many local governments not to any kind specifically. In fact, the article says he donated to Florida local governments, and while Florida is a swing state, it is not run by Democrats, so not Democrats only.

Idk why this was even allowed but I sure would like to see their training sessions.

They donated money, not training.

"For this reason, we have partnered with Facebook to help election officials easily understand and incorporate best practices to strengthen their voter outreach on Facebook. This webinar will focus on both new and existing tools available to help election officials amplify voter education efforts and establish their Facebook pages as trusted sources of election information."

Zucker Punch!

Just look at this map! The blue is where Zuckerberg concentrated the money.

The blue are where Zuckerberg gave money to non-counties, and the green is where Zuckerberg gave money to counties. The divide is that the northeast handles more elections on a non-county basis.
