I think all of the Russian Natural Gas Pipelines to eastern Europe and Turkey are inevitable and are the best solution for the EU countries, Turkey, and Russia.

I also think the US needs to stay out of the way and not impose sanctions on any of the pipeline companies or countries involved. If we need to sanction Russia- there are still plenty of other ways to put pressure on Russia through other financial sanctions.

Eastern European countries have all well studied their dependence on Natural Gas and what is the most economical way to import their natural gas is through Russia's natural gas state of art pipelines.

I don't blame Trump for trying to at least offer to sell Texas Natural Gas to Europe as an alternative to the pipeline- But after all the economic studies, it was proven that that was uneconomical for Eastern Europe to import Natural Gas from Texas or the US. The delivery cost was much higher and totally out of the question. And Trump's sanctions on Russia and the pipeline companies involved, were only turning our allies against us and further frustrating the Russians that led to the buildup at the Ukraine border.

Putin now needs to remove the threat of invading the Ukraine and the US needs to stand down and allow the Russian Pipelines to be completed and put into good use.

Russia will find that they can have their cake- but they have to play the game like responsible nations do.

The US and NATO rules- and Putin needs to get with the program and forget all about military options- because he really has no leg to stand on other than his Contract to supply eastern Europe with Natural Gas!

No country in the world gets everything they want- certainly not Russia or the US- but if you try sometime- YOU GET WHAT YOU NEED- and no one needs to die or be deprived of something as important to EU as their access to natural gas at an economical price!

Matt Vespa: Biden Wants War

Bungling Biden all but gave the green light.

It wasn't necessarily a Dean Acheson moment, where the late secretary of state forgot to mention South Korea and Taiwan as being part of the US' "defensive perimeter" in the Cold War era. Communist North Korea saw that as the "okay" sign to invade, sparking the Korean War.

Bungling Biden's people did clean up that trip-up, but the damage was done.

In last week's presser, bungling Biden was quite clear initially that our response would depend on the size and scope of the invasion and that Putin was probably going to invade.

Bungling Biden's America is always in retreat, always weak, and utterly incompetent.

Now, bungling Biden is mulling the deployment of thousands of troops and trying to get Americans out of the country.

I can't believe the sequel to this shambolic foreign policy is being distributed so soon - the bungling Biden regime might clinch a record in losing two embassies lost. He already left Americans behind in Afghanistan. He seems primed to do the same in Ukraine.

We're on the verge of armed conflict in Ukraine.

It's "Wag the Dog," which isn't good.

For those who missed this film starring Dustin Hoffman and Robert De Niro, it's about a US president who is about to be hit with a sexual misconduct scandal involving young girls.

SevereNippyKoalabear-max-1mb.gif

Before Election Day, an operative, played by De Niro, solicits the help of a movie producer (Hoffman) to produce a fake war.

The difference is that even in this fictional universe, De Niro wasn't dumb enough to stoke the war flames with Russia, a nation that has nuclear weapons. What are we doing here?
