Paid for by Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee :readit:

Surely you jest....why would I even bother to try and refute the crap on a partisan propaganda site...?

And you've surely proved to be nothing more than a lot of neocon hot air. It's called specifics, not general association. Again, the sources you linked DID NOT refute or disprove anything that DNC gave originally. Period. So repeat yourself all you want, and have that other neocon parrots tell you how smart/right you are.....means nothing in the long run.

"The Senate Finance Committee’s health care plan will not include provisions dealing with end-of-life care..."

"nonpartisan fact-checking groups like Politifact.com have said that the House bill would not require end-of-life counseling for Medicare recipients or encourage euthanasia."

http://prescriptions.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/08/13/senate-bill-will-not-address-end-of-life-care/

And here's the kicker....

Once again, the neocon parrots squawk the party line without understanding just what the hell is going on. IMHO, the current wimpy congress will take this out of the final draft, thus giving the neocons a hollow victory to rally their willfully ignorant constituents around.

I do want a government health care system.

Each year, a larger and larger portion of family income is spent on health insurance and health services.

At $1,000 a month for insurance (more if you have a family), higher deductibles, higher co-pays and limited drug coverage, any stimulus money the average citizen receives goes to stimulating the medical insurance industry.

The rationale against a government-run plan isn't very convincing. Don't preconditions, pre-approvals and in-plans already create limits and restrictions? Doesn't government-controlled Medicare allow people to chose their doctors? Wouldn't expenses be less if a single, not-for-profit managing system were created? Why would research end when our government contributes billions into research, treatment and prevention programs and, since medications would not be free, the incentive for private research will continue and maybe even increase?

So what's the real reason? For our representatives to say they want health care reform without real change is a waste of our money and their time.

in other words you want to force other people to pay your bills...typical liberal mentality

And you don't care about the 47 million who have no health care, do you?

Haven't you realized yet that neocons today no longer believe in society? All you have to do is to listen to Limbaugh or Beck for 5 minutes to realize that this whole healthcare debate for them is about corporate monopolies and profits. If they were interested in solving healthcare problems they would offer solutions of their own instead of saying everything is fine. Nothings really changed for the past 120 yrs for them. They're corporatists who believe in profits over people and see this country as a cash cow.

Saw a woman driving on the side of the freeway with a flat tire. Tire was about to break down into pieces. Then she would ruin her wheel and maybe screw up other things in the rear end. I thought she must be a Republican. She's willing to screw up the whole car rather than stop and fix a problem. But then I realized she was acting out of fear. It all made sense.
