Foreign cultures have their own tells just like Americans. People, including yours truly, toss out cultural references all the time be it gang/militia/white supremacist sign or simply various cultural aspects of a nation as large as the United States of America with a population of over 330 million.

Anyone who as ever seen a conversation between a New York huckster, a California surfer dude, a New England fisherman and a Texas cowboy would understand that not everyone has the same background. It's been my fortune to travel around the Mediterranean nations, Germany, the Western Pacific, Mexico, etc. It's an eye opener which I introduced my wife to experiencing. Cultures vary even though most people want the same thing: care for themselves, the ones they love and to be left the fuck alone.

I think it's hilarious in a way when anatta starts ranting about how complicated it is, and what he's working on, and how he's fit all the pieces together. Well, in this case I know him personally. He did get radicalized over the last decade, but I've already illustrated how that happened. Although, his spelling and grammar WOULD lead one to believe that he's 'some 400 pound guy' posting from his bedroom in Russia.

But what you describe is problematic. Confirmation bias. We all have it, but some of us choose to dispel that which seems to be garbage before we accept it as fact worthy of discussion.

All the way until the last few decades, Israel has been completely rational in their reaction to multiple attacks by multiple Arab nations. Only when Israel developed nuclear weapons did the conventional attacks stop and the asymmetrical warfare begin.

The Arab nations weaponized the Palestinians to carry out terrorist attacks. Not only against Israel, but Israelis in foreign nations and, finally, any nations supporting Israel. The PLO didn't make their own weapon nor did they train themselves to become experts in tactics, hijackings and other terrorist attacks. It was the overall Arab world that turned the remaining Palestinians into a Culture of Death as a weapon against Israel since conventional warfare as no longer an option.

What happens to mad dog fanatics trained for war when peace is declared? They're cut off and euthanized.

The bad news is that, after about 75 years of constant attack, the Israelis have been getting pissy....which is irrational. Any humanitarian excesses may be popular among a few but is self-defeating in the end. I understand their impatience, especially since nothing else ever worked. IMO, the Israelis and Native Americans have a common complaint: every treaty they signed with their opponent was broken by the other party.

FYI: do some research, because the shennanigans regarding Donbas, NATO and post-Soviet Russia started LONG before Obama, Trump and Biden came on the scene. As you said, Putin is no angel...he's had a hard on for returning to the old USSR since he seized power. Both entities just keep playing games....the losers being the average schmoes just trying to get through the day going to work, feeding their families, etc.

We saw how well pushing for democratic elections worked in Palestine. Now the Palestinians suffer at the hands of terrorists running the show. Israel/Palestine are like two children that won't stop pulling each other's hair in the back seat of a car.

Israel goes way beyond simply answering missiles with missiles. Palestine's terrorists continue the idiocy and there will never be a meaningful coexistence.

Moon does a good job of highlighting the myriad Israeli atrocities.
