Nobody cares, everybody has their minds made up. You see how many people still think there are "death panels" in the bill.

yeah....thats why i and others are asking questions trying to find the truth and having honest debates with you guys....problem is, when you don't like the questions because you knwo the answers might harm your case, you most often insult...

IMO...ib1 has given me the best debates on this subject and has drawn me away from my firm stance against it to a stance of i am not sure right now...when people are idiotic and insulting and don't debate, makes me think they are hiding something

Regardless, Congress doesn't have the constitutional power to require all Americans have health insurance. An amendment would have to be made to the Constitution.

Yurt, both sides make their jokes, it is a way to lighten the situation when both sides start to take themselves too seriously. Humor is a healer, or I believe in its healing powers.

Funny. Last time I checked the Supreme Court hadn't ruled on the question.

On the narrow question of whether the federal government can require individuals to purchase insurance I think there could be a plausible argument that it is unconstitutional. Whether the Congress could structure it as a tax penalyy as opposed to a mandate is a separate question and I think the argument there is pretty weak.

in this case, h/c reform....i have seen a lopsided view...wiht liberals heavily insulting those who don't agree with them and i have seen very little actual debate from liberals on the subject....

watermark, ib1 are the only two that i can think of that have truly rationally debated the subject from a liberal POV

and let's face it, more and more are against the bill....you guys are not convincing people, thats a fact
